There is a difference between 'strong' build and 'utterly broken-trivialize all content' build. This build legit broke the game. It was the best mapper and bosser while being immortal lmao. Anybody with half brain would see a nerf incoming, even after GGG said they won't touch it.

I just wish Bex didn't lie and say that fun is allowed and lead me to believe my time and effort wouldn't be wasted, and then just blindside me with this. I was reassured by GGG that I was allowed to have my fun developing, optimizing, and enjoying my character.

The betrayal is what really hurts me deep man. Gaaah. I believed in you; I trusted you. I've had so many bad experiences being abused by heartless video game developers, I just don't think I can do it again. GGG had been such a light in my life for the past couple years. :(

Just curious, why is Headhunter Leather Belt allowed to do this exact thing for years without even in between league balances? But what I've spent the entirety of the last 18 days of my life chasing and trying to accomplish gets a mid league nerf that even goes back on your word? So many people have already gotten to benefit from it and enjoy it, and I just don't get to even try?

On the bright side, I guess I won't be needing those points after all. Saving money is always good. And maybe, just maybe, I'll be motivated to make something of my life if I get bored enough.

this very rare to me to write a reply to some GGG posts publicly.
I'm playing for a very long time and watching development and GGG course very closely.

And I wholeheartedly support you decision to nerf this mid-league and thank you for that.

It was so overpowered that I even start considering to play it to see If even I can break the game. Nobody should be tempted by such powers!

All these people that are butt hurt about this just gave me the biggest grin on my face. I mean come on they definitely didn't mean to make the jewel(passive) affect all aura's that would just be dumb and broken and ruin diversity as everyone would just pickup a bunch of these jewels and yolo through all content

Agreed. Anything deserve to be nerfed/tweked/fixed when players start to abuse them due to its ability to break the game.

I think I see what you mean, but crafting "game-breaking" builds is part of the fun for me. Not only in PoE. Changing the rules mid-game is quite upsetting, especially when you found something powerful and managed to get it running despite it being so popular that prices were just ridiculous.
I hope I can rebuild my guardian to still work. After all, that is also part of the game. Albeit, usually between leagues and not mid-league.

I just hope we can still get something viable out of it. After all, Cyclone and several other skills survived their nerf and are still usable.
