most people, hah, right, it is super fun to figure out that they can be stacked, especially when you never thought they could to begin with, and then seeing that hey, they actually do stack, farming for more of the right kind of clusters to start forming a build like this, wether it is farming currency for them or getting the clusters by yourself, but spending a fucking week working every single day on the character, investing all your currency into crafting and buying the things you need, only to get at most 20% of it back because some fucker exploited the fuck out of it and made ggg ruin it for guardians completely during the league, yes, that is super fucking fun, i fucking love it

Right nerf yes, but the wrong moment I thing, They gave us the
GO FOR IT FLAG, they said they won't nerf it. My issue is mostly the time and investment of the build that hurt. i am 100% for the nerf, just not in the middle of the league.

They had to do it now or the league was over barely before it began. I agree they should have warned everyone, not given the green light then pulled the plug after those who were going to already invested. I mean, no-one can reasonably disagree that that's messed up.

GGG do that a lot though. They've got a process issue, and some of their designers aren't nearly as good as they think they are, and have too much voice. They're getting clumsy and arrogant IMO.

Definitely needed a nerf. It was broken as hell. Still...

I sold all my stuff: my spectremancer league start, my miner for bossing, and all my lucky drops to buy the cluster jewels and other associated parts. I got the Solstice Vigil for 15 ex. I thought I was lucky when it was 36 ex the next night. Now it’s about 8 and no one will buy it. I went all in on this build on the assumption that I could trust the post that said the build would not be nerfed. The prices spiked due to security; risk goes down, value goes up. Now my stuff is worthless. So, I’ve two choices:

1) Continue playing and try stretch the (maximum) 1 ex I made with the build today into a character that can farm red maps. Invest more time (2 weeks at least) to re-earn that money to get back to where I was, or ...
2) Quit. Wait until next league.

I mean, exalts day 1 are 30c. Now they’re, what, 120? My build was 50 ex and now it’s easily less than 10. The multiplicity of my currency has been rendered worthless because some guy in the company gave the green light. To me, that’s not fair. You can’t say you’re going to do something and then back out. Doing so rewards those who complained, justifiably, about the interactions. But, it takes those who trusted you and throws them firmly under the bus. This is the end of my league. You have damaged your reputation with me.

P.S. - people who like this game enough to RMT will just RMT back all the currency they lost. You’re not hurting them.

People only see whats good for them. All the people that didn't use the nodes are enforcing the nerfs and people that were using it aren't happy.

The game is in a dire state, performance has never been worse. Having to play on NA servers as EU players to be able to just play the game without getting rolled back etc...

exactly, i dont mind the nerf, but after the go for it like literally "enjoy it until the end of the league" so people went for it only to get their ass handed to them, myself included, i could have literally taken 4/5 of all my currency, tossed it in BA and left the area, it would have had the same effect, then the time investment into the build as well, fuck, thats a lot of wasted time on a build that was fun, even in it's basic version without solstice and stuff like that
