Changes to the Purposeful Harbinger Notable Passive

No kidding, I was starting to have fun for a change. After ripping about 1000 deaths in Delirium I was smiling with the prospect of actually living thru it this time.

Same.

I looked forward for actually tanky build with decend clearspeed, and it's not like it not required 300 exalts for most "broken" shenanigans (with HH/tailwind).

What's wrong with build being broken if it requires so much investment? It's point of an ARPG to make the character more and more powerful with better and rarer items.

Luckily I actually started with HH and Tailwind boots, at least I not lost time by getting Voices/Solstice first just to get these items turned into void.

Funniest part of this thread is that a majority of the people who support this decision are people with below 15 league challenges. no characters above 95.

Is goo goo gurber baby too lazy to farm money for da zoom zoom build. get your gurber cup for sippy sippy milky boo hoo.

If you play this game casually with 0 knowledge or time invested to learn it. you don't deserve to tell how the people who actually care about this game should play.

Funniest part of this thread is that the "build" will still own all content even after the patch.

One of the first videos on Herald stacking (Immortal Man RF build) was facetanking 100% delirious T16s with almost none of the broken items/auras, using a single 7node Voices, no HH, no solstice, no nebulis, no black cane, no tailwind nor sporeguard.

This build is absolutely still broken even with auras from skills. Post-nerf Unwavering Faith still counts as a skill and you'll still get 40% Phys reduction and 16% regen. Zealotry gives 100% more spell damage and Hatred double dips with 100% extra cold + 100% more cold damage. Purities capping resist at 90% with no resist gear etc

Still the strongest build in the game BY FAR.

Look dude i understand where you come from. But the issue is it doesn't matter. the economy wont get any better because of this change. the only thin that happens is some players are unhappy. others feel gratified for ruining fun for other people. and the rest stays the same.

Another issue is that this nerf completely ignores other things. last league I knew people who had dps in the100's of millions just playing with a dps/support setup. its possible to hit over 500m dps with a support. That trivializes this game even more in some ways

The main point is that for me. a video game is about having fun. and poe has the perfect system to make sure as many people have fun as possible by having game changing nerfs between leagues.

I agree that its the most powerful build thats ever existed in the game. but who really gets hurts letting people get a taste of old pre-aoe nerf poe memes for 2 more months.
all the angry people make me laugh, rip your jewels
Think the biggest mistake here was to tell ppl from an authoritative position there will have been no nerf during league time.
Then subvert this statement few days later.
Now, you can't even go back as that would be hilarious (most dudes panic-sold their stuff underpriced)

This is why you really need to slow down and test the game more diligently.
All those exploiters crying, makes me lul so much, rip cheaters.

PugChump ggg for 'fixing' it mid season, albeit still 2 weeks to late, but ya'll should know by now, each and every season without doubt, there is always another game ruining exploit..... always.

LUL Stank Pug Chump Puggers ................... Soooo WEAK, soooo very weak LUL
I was hoping that the change would be:

Limited to one of each cluster jewel type (small, medium, large),I guess that's the final fix we'll get at the end of the league.

SELL SELL SELL, ohhhh, wait............ its already to late and you've already lost all your adena's. rip
People keep acting like they are setting some dangerous precedent here by patching obviously broken systems. They did nerfs mid-league before to stuff that obviously was op because it wasn't implemented as intended and this is no different. People use Bex's statement that they don't want to nerf it yet as a concrete 100%, not going to get nerfed statement, but that was barely into the league and before people repeatedly showcased how broken it was. GGG doesn't have time to sit around all day monitoring exactly how broken stuff is, and Bex is paid to manage the community on a constant basis which means sometimes she says stuff that developers will overturn later on because communication and decision making aren't instant processes. GGG hates mid-league nerfs almost as much as a level-headed player would as it flies in the face of their perfectly concocted business model.

I also see people using HeadHunter as an example of why this build is fine. HeadHunter has become a staple item of the game and has substansial history. Removing it is rather problematic at this point, despite developers fully believing it would be beneficial mechanics wise to remove it. This herald crap however has been around a few weeks and in a year it will likely become a rare anecdote for when people are looking for ways to be angry.

The joke is really on the angry people though, GGG doesn't care we are a month into the league or so, they've already got the majority of their league income. Consumers are idiots and will almost always be back, and those that won't aren't valuable enough to matter to their multi-million dollar income.

Oh well, I wasn't effected because I don't just follow all the top tier metas like a sheep.

Not exactly a fair expectation for them to think through every possible interaction that could be exploited. The probability they release something broken enough for a mid league nerf of this magnitude is so slim that no smart businessman would waste money trying to prevent it. Besides, everyone knows by now GGG doesn't understand the complexities needed to abuse their game, so even if they tried they'd still fail.
@Bex_GGG

I spent all league farming to get the currency to play this build with the current prices.
You told us there would be no nerf.
now your retract what you said.

[Removed by Support]
waste of time and money spent on this game.

i have to agree with you, i spent so much of my time farming currency and clusters for this build, when i felt i had enough to start, like a few clusters to get the ball going, i started mine and crafted more as i went along, now all that currency is wasted and worse, all that time wasted
