Cluster Jewels and their Notables

Hmm, not sure if I like or don’t like that small, medium, and large cluster jewels have targeted passives. On one hand you know what you need in order to get the desired slot, but on the other it will be like Watcher’s Eye where multiple notables of the same type exponentially increase the value since you are limited to the number of each type.
You absolute madman...

Yeah, but jewel clusters are craftable.
Why don't you list which size cluster gem each of the skills are found on would make planning things out much easier

I am wondering about one aspect of chance to explode and the HUGE difference between amount of Life dealt as chaos damage vs physical damage.

There are one new Notable with phys explode and two chaos explode (including one general kill)

Unspeakable Gifts
Enemies you Kill have a 10% chance to Explode, dealing a quarter of their maximum Life as Chaos Damage

vs
Devastator
20% increased Attack Damage
20% increased Damage with Ailments from Attack Skills
Enemies killed by your Attack Hits have a 15% chance to Explode, dealing a tenth of their maximum Life as Physical Damage

Is it even possible to scale explode damage? Should you use general Phys DMG/Chaos DMG (or AoE, as it is an explosion)to increase damage dealt to enemies or these 10%/25% are final values ?
Is there some way of scaling Phys explode significantly higher than Chaos explode that is why it deals only 10% HP vs 25% HP (chaos)? Given the fact that Chaos damage is usually not mitigated (or barely) these values seems to be swapped.

They more or less did. Offensive notables are in large jewels. Utility notables are on medium jewels. Defensive notables are on small jewels. If you can’t figure out that an aura buff is utilitarian and attack speed offensive, then wait for someone to update the wiki...it’ll probably be done before launch since they released it so early.

Yes, but large jewels especially will get very pricy. If I had to guess ~200 of the notables fall into the offensive category. Hitting 3 within the same archetype will be very rare and akin to desirable Watcher’s Eye mods that line up. Good jewels will sell for dozens exalt probably, more if jewels are hard to come by.

Say there are 200 possible rolls for 3 gem slots. Getting 1 specific notable is 3/200 chance (1.5%). Getting a second specific notable is 3/200 * 2/199 (~.015%). That’s ~6667 chaos (~30-40 ex). Results of course go up the less picky you are, but getting 3 desirable notables on a single gem will be very, very rare.

I admit I am likely off and the actual number of offensive notables probably falls in the 140-190 range. I didn’t count after all.

Also node hollow palm technique...are your fists considered weapons for the purpose of dual wielding and picking up nodes on passive skill tree?

nice
Looks like too much effort to be only a league mechanic.
So Delirium is basically a proof of concept + beta to test the new jewels ingame.
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks
hmmm still nothing to max dodge ^^
