" I remember when GGG tried to change daily master missions to two random missions per day, and people went ballistic...so they changed it back to 5. And this is the end result. Now they are taking away the maps bonus for awakening levels..again people are ballistic.. LoL. You guys really think GGG changes stuff without thinking. " GGG is the only company I know of, that keeps making the game harder and less rewarding, while claiming they would improve it. Last league, was already a nightmare in map sustain compared to Blight, making it harder is the last thing they should do. But now we also need to play more maps to spawn the conquerer, while in the past you did 3 maps and had him, now you might need to play 9, again they claim it would be easier, while it´s harder. GGG, I ask you why? |

" on the same way that some people skip league content, or some people like to farm all of those. Is only personal preference. 2 dailys per day is too low if you like to farm one specific master like in my case where i like niko and jun for example, don't found very boring einhar and alva. overall i think most of this change are bad, i don't complain map drops because last league was probably the easiest one to sustain in years, but the conqueror system, the need of having stock of many maps if you want to farm conquerors because of less chance if you do the same map, the new awakening system and the idea of farming all the atlas again for the awakening bonus is so tedious. Also if you completed awakening bonus and like to level new chars you will have to deal with the 24% effect on map mods that is a complete shit. |

We'll also be removing the "x% chance for Maps to drop one tier higher" bonus from Awakening Bonus Objectives.
This is a stupid idea. GGG has been making dumb changes in regards to map drops over and over again. The community has always complained and GGG does it repeatedly. You never learn. The master mission buff is pretty much garbage. I have a lot of master missions already that I haven't used. |

How hard is it to understand that reduced player retention kills games and that reduced enjoyment and freedom leads to reduced player retention? I get that your name is Grinding Gear Games, but Blizzard doesn't make you play in an actual snowstorm to get the good stuff. At some point, you're gonna have to let that "Herp derp iT's iN oUr naME!" mentality go. And I say this all as someone who really has no life and plenty of time to grind away at the game, but unlike the countless elitist simpleton schmucks out there, I get how important it is for a game like this to have a thriving HAPPY community ('community' doesn't mean 1% of the player base, btw). So yea, even if countless changes effectively mean little more to me than brief annoyance because I can and will grind away, I know I'm not the average player; and exclusively catering to me and other players like me will, in the long run, hurt your bottom line. " This only fixes one of the issues, which was unlucky streaks. The other issues were a sometimes bug where you couldn't spawn influence unless you switched hideouts. 33% is still too low, and this basically re-enforced that 33%. The old system of elder/shaper was that if you worked hard enough, and with a little luck, you can have near infinite spawns every map that you were targeting. Now it's 3 over 9 maps no matter what you do in red maps. Might incentivize white map runs more because you get through more conquerors and awakeners. " Mostly good, at least for me. But this does prevent certain strategies of leveling areas to avoid those map drops but not using 4 to prevent getting harder map modifers from awakening level applying. " This is a nerf that was unneeded. GGG didn't need to decrease the base chance. " Huge nerf and completely unneeded as well. Players that can complete 15-16's easy WANT To spam those maps. This hurts sustain and lowers the value of awakening level quite a bit So slight buffs and a lot of nerfs? Thought you were suppose to be buffing things. |
