Sirus fight is making me quit POE

It's his "Die" ability that's the problem.

While I'm playing the game in easy mode as an Aurastacker - I spend 99% of the time dashing around and running in circles and let my golems do the job. Not once am I standing still.

Even though I'm running in circles while dashing (Shield Charge) he doesn't miss. I was hit by Every Single One in P3.

Call me an idiot, but does he have different buffs each fight?

Different buffs? Not really just more life/dmg depending on awakeners level. Also people should be using Soul of Shakri & Soul of Arakaali
If someone wants help with Sirus, and you want to record or stream your fight I can help you out if you want some tips if there's something your doing that's making the fight harder. Just add me in game.

Got another A8 queued up and ready to go. Such an epic fight. Gotta level up first tho XD

I understand the value in having a challenging endboss, but the process of spawning sirus in combination with the rippiness and limited attempts is really excessive IMO. Why not at the very least allow unlimited attempts for a first-kill without having to redo the whole conqueror business? It wouldn't have to be unlimited attempts on a single spawn, to prevent death-rushing cheese, but it could at least allow you to restart the encounter with 6 lives again. Subsequent spawns could require warlords each time.

I'm probably more of the average/typical player on POE, and with around 600 hours played in total I unlocked sirus for the first time. I read up about it and watched a couple videos, then attempted it myself and promptly failed. I don't plan to attempt it again, and I might as well consider POE "completed" at this point.

In the beginning I tried to make own builds, then after hitting a hard wall around yellow maps I started following build guides which has gotten me comfortably into red maps, but even with that and what I feel like is a LOT of grinding I have never been able to afford (or find, or craft) good enough gear to really flesh out a build that can stomp endgame content like I have seen other players do.
^^^ You can do it if you really want to. If you don't that's fine. The spawning mechanics and the fight itself aren't the problem.

I'll never own a Bugatti and that's quite alright.

Your inability to own an overpriced vehicle has nothing do with how a videogame is currently balanced.
Although I think Sirus is the worst designed boss in PoE by far, all I ask for is for my sound to stop bugging out and not get stuck in one of the meteor maze walls when it spawns(my character gets stuck in center of one of the walls and can't move or use any movement abilities). The meteor maze wall is rare but I have done the boss so many times it has occured a few times.

No matter the channel count or sound settings Sirus sound just bugs out consistently for me. I have spoken to a few friends and this does happen sometimes but not every time like me. Reinstalls, settings etc do not help.

If you have maps to burn, you can follow what Cutedog does to quickly spawn Sirus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdX3izNs0ME

I wouldn't do it tho, alteration orbs are very valuable to collect these days. I'm just showing there is a way.

I also highly recommend you buy an anti corrupted blood jewel and ryslatha pantheon for life flask charges. (I didn't need the latter because I took Call to Arms and used Enduring Cry to fill up my life during his "hiding" phases.) Other things you could do is remove all watchstones to lower the difficulty before opening the portals but I believe you already knew that.

That doesn't work anymore though. Map drop rates are abysmal, the sustain is far too low for that :'(
And/or they are too expensive to throw away like that, not worthless as he said in the video - or at least so it is in standard. No idea if league economy maps are really worthless?
I can see you haven't quit yet, you're hanging in there quite well.

But i couldnt agree more that Sirus is such an easy, tiring and unexciting fight. Plus the drops are shit most of the time.
No to conditional challenges on top of RNG pure luck mechanics.
