Sirus fight is making me quit POE
" You're right. GGG will NEVER give to a player.. Remember how many years we've had consistant bugs that never change, but literally 24 hours within something being discovered to be OP on reddit it's fixed. I firmly believe GGG literally hates their playerbase, or they would fix this horseshit already. It's inexcusable to have such a buggy, broken, poorly designed fight existing for almost a year. The entirely of phase 4 needs to go. The dark red colors need to go. The screen is just a blurry mess. |

well the real problem with sirus is that we need some practice to learn how to fight him , so is better to watch some videos before tryng the fight, at all sirus is just a bit annoing, and of course is an hard fight, depending on how your charachter is build.

" Bossing is my least favorite thing in ARPG's, different people, different tastes. Some people need arbitrary goals in games like this, others enjoy it because they set their own goals. Personally I don't mind just plain skipping this Frankenstein fight because it literally sucks away all the fun I'm having, demotivating and frustrating myself. This should not be happening. It is the biggest stain on this game. I can't even see the boss in the last phase and my eyesight is still okay (I think). Not being able to spot the boss in a fight with non stop crap everywhere is just the worst thing ever. |

Had my first Sirus encounter today :P i was kinda hyped, i "only" died once to a storm. i couldve sworn i didnt touch it.. but getting to him wasnt too bad. i think i got him to the last phase. maybe... But maybe its my colorblindness, but i could not tell what the boss was going to do.
A big spinny thing in the middle of the room and suddenly DEATH LASER from offscreen somewhere right in the face. Now i ran in with WAAAY too low life, i didnt expect to beat him really, but it does feel like a fight that is designed to die 50 times to learn how he works, or you watch youtube, not a fan of that myself |

TLTR: the fight is TERRIBLE designed and a PAIN to do as melee!
Sirus fight as melee is a pain in the but! First Phase it's ok. But second Phase is a pure BAD joke! Sirus spawns in the middle of the rotating red cross or over some ground effects which kills you close to instant even with max res and life leech/on hit. Some times he even spawns outside this arena-cycle where you get insta killed too! Or he teleports around so freaking fast, that once you reached him with double-dash .. he allready ports AGAIN! @Bex & Criss ... just for once play a melee and stream your Awaken 8 Sirus fight with non-mirror gear. I want a good laugh when you two go mad after wasting 80 portals :D. Oh and did I mentioned the "DIE screem" 2 screens away where you have no damn idear where it comes from and which will 99,99% sure insta kill you too????? And all this with a camera which is constantly moving in/out/in/out/in/out. Or the times where he get to ground, you hit him ONE TIME and he gets into the sky again?? Fighting Sirus and dying to him and whatnot is not the problem. I do not mind dying a thousand times if I can learn his telegraph move set and attack pattern. Even if he trap the door and off screen me a kazillion more times. As long as I can fight him to my content, learn how to move the storm away, when to cue for his attacks, then I am okay. I will fight him over and over again until I learn how to win. What I cannot grasp is, and is also the biggest elephant in the entire room... in the case that you do lost the entire battle, you have to run T16 maps all over again!? You have to do the stupid Conqueror quest TWELVE more times just to fight Sirus again? That is the problem. Who thought this was a good idea!? Why not let us fight him until we actually win once or something? At least lighten the load of re spawning conquerors by letting us travel directly to their realm only beating each one time each without having to run a T16 map. Do know you how long it takes to spawn all those conquerors just to maybe lose and having to start all over again. That is just poor design! Never have I played a game so punishing in my entire life. Even the Souls series is not this bad.

Sirus fight isn't that hard once you learn the fight, the issue is that it take an absurd amount of maps before you can retry the fight (this being the major barrier for people to learn the fight).
This can be solved with the introduction of conqueror fragments so that he can be repeatable like the other major fights like the Delve Bosses, Atziri, U.Atziri, Shaper, Elder and U.Elder fights are. Last edited by magicdownunder#6346 on Aug 8, 2020, 5:09:28 AM
