Sirus fight is making me quit POE
The fight feels like I'm playing some sort of mario game instead of an arpg.
Tho everything is bearable except for the last phase where I literally cant see shit, including the boss. I had been running around, avoiding the die beams for minutes and the 999 ground effects but couldn't find the boss itself after i dropped dead once at the 3rd phase. |

Last Sirus I had - game destroyed all 6 portals to him, with all preparing work included. And with silly excuse like 'abnormal disconnection occured'. Kicked me out, then 1 min later, when I log in again and came to my ho — all portals were gone. Dint even allowed to go down there. Wonder how it felt, GGG?

This fight is actually really easy now. It should be harder, in my opinion. Unlike Uber Elder, Sirus does not have a soft enrage, which makes it completely trivial. Perhaps to make Sirus better, GGG should make storms form on the outside of the arena at the start, and gradually make them move towards the centre, making the entire arena lethal in 3 minutes.

I think I reached that point that I need to spend a ton exalts to gear another character to kill Sirus w/o worrying about losing exp or losing the fight... Or better yet sell the fight for sadistic ones. I'm not going to kill 50 of this bullshit of a fight.

The fight itself is kind of meh. I truly hope that with POE 2 boss fights won't be dps+dodge while he is invulnerable. Most boss mechanics in poe are exactly the same.
To not insta shotgun the boss with broken builds,hurray,we have invulerable phases, but that still does not help. The boss should scale with the player. If I have a basic RF build or a LL BL miner build,the boss behaves EXACTLY the same,has EXACTLY the same moves,the same HP same everything. Difficulty of the bosses should be adjusted even if not to the skill of the player,as that would be quite complicated,at least to the build of the player. Given what items someone has, what build someone has can simply oneshot bosses or has to constantly run and dodge the boss till they finally manage to kill it. |

" You are running VD in a VD league, there's a reason it's popular despite the two-hander push. The more damage one can reliably put out the easier the boss fights get since you reduce the time spent dealing with the mechanics. When it gets hit by nerfs in a league or two the fight will end up a different experience. And again - the primary argument isn't so much that it's hard but the dynamic. Getting shot dead by deathbeam after having a cross beam spawn on top of you with no chance to react is bad enough - but repeatedly dying just trying to get back into the arena doesn't make a fight more enjoyable. Yep, totally over league play.

Just lost most of my portals trying to get back into the arena and then getting off-screen die beamed. I have no issues with the actual fight and find the third phase fun; however, once I die the first time, I know there's like a 25% chance I won't be able to get another hit on him and there's nothing fun about that.

Tried to get back to sirus and got ofscreened 3 times with that beam while not even being close at him yet. This is the biggest fail boss i ever saw in this type of genre. Its unfair and just not fun. In other leagues i did beat him on higher awakens aswell btw. It is just not worth my time. I only do the fight because of the drops but everytime shit like this happends i get reminded why i hate mapping at the moment. There is no fun endgoal. |

That is why D3 was "hard" before any nerfs at launch - every rare and magic mob would enrage after 2 minutes and reset to full health if there was a wipe.
