Game unplayable since patch 3.9.0e? for Win7 users (FPS issue) STILL A PROBLEM AFTER 3.9.1b :(

With the new year on the rise, I certainly hope that GGG will now prioritize fixing this issue in it's entirety and not half-heartedly like in the previous patch.
Seriously though, it has been OVER 2 WEEKS of enduring PoE being in this unplayable state for a majority of Windows 7 users and a smaller amount of Windows 10 users, with myself being included among them. Honestly, this caliber of waiting day-in and day-out without any updates towards the status of when this game-breaking patch will be fixed should be considered cruel and unacceptable punishment. Oh, and Happy New Year everyone~ |

Two weeks since the patch 3.9.0e that made the game unplayable.
Just a reminder that there were no issues before that patch. |

2020/1/1 still can't mapping.

At this point, I'd like GGG to at least admit that PoE will no longer work in Windows 7, because they have no idea how to fix the memory leak. I would uninstall the game, refund whatever I can and move on.

Another bump, would be great to play. How I remember those pleasant days of not having to restart after EVERY. SINGLE. MAP. And now, can't even attempt a map due to FPS going to hell as soon as I enter it. RIP fun times

Problem with frame drops and worsening performance continues to appear on both Win 7 and Win10.
Same party - same fights comparison: Win7 x64, 8GB RAM, GTX1060, SSD, DirectX 11 60FPS Win10, 16GB RAM, RTX2060, HDD, DirectX 12 120FPS Random frame drop at fights where mobs are occupying shrine or have a lot of effects and auras- from 60 to 20 FPS and from 120 to 50. Third blighted map after fresh restart ends up with drop of 60 to 7 FPS, 120 to 30 FPS at the end of fight with just loot lying around. Delve so far didn't cause many frames drops, just occasional stagger here and there. Metamorph fights are causing massive freezes when adds start to spawn with too many effects aka auras. All above is happening on both systems mentioned above at the same party. So certanly not WIN 7 fault. |

I´ve been playing with -ns in the launch parameters and disabled sound effects and ambient in the config, for an hour now. The game is "only" eating 4,2gb of ram with google chrome in the background while playing. Legion, meta and breach encounters so far with no problems or stuttering issues.

" Hey, I played 1 game with dx11. That game in previous versions was dx9. Moving to newer dx11 fixed game a lot, made better looks and has better performance. No RAM issues whatever. Its GGG product failed that move. I have to add, that that other game doesnt have many flashy things. And thing for other ppl. GGG doesnt list Windows 7 RAM consumtion in "Known Issues & How to Report Bugs". Last edited by OPONA#1082 on Jan 1, 2020, 1:29:14 PM
