In Conquerors of the Atlas, Elder Guardians are no longer in their own instance

The elder guardian will open a new portal to a new instance within the map that wont have map mods just like how it works currently.

hmm how to get enough Uber Elder spawns in 1 league now to make it worthwhile? Is it like getting Legion Splinters where you could farm up your own and still not be able to produce your own encounter without buying from someone else or?

I think they're implying the exact opposite, that Elder Guardians will be in a boss room in the same instance, just like Shaper Guardians and most standard map bosses are now. So you'll have to deal with map mods making the bosses harder, but on the other hand you'll be able to go in with fully charged Vaal skills, Banner stages, Rage and so forth.

I just hope we don't have to wait for the elder animations to suck up the map boss souls. Just let the arena entry be waiting for us at the boss. It's not part of the core story anymore, you can afford us that much!!

If they've not had their stats changed in any way this is just suicide on a shitload of builds (on HC), most red tier elder guardians do like 5k unmodded any kind of regular damage amp is going to lead to a high number of one shots.

I like the map mod system in general but i've really never been a fan of it applying to bosses, Shaper's guardians are Ok because they were balanced around it i'm fairly certain elder's weren't.

Also melee suffer from these the worst, and they already suck. Modded eradicator as melee? lmfao
