Why do we NOT have access to China cosmetics?
" "I want"... Decisions aren't made based on you, you know. There's stuff in the Chinese store that would upset A LOT of players here, when it comes to art direction the game takes. And understandably so. There's tons of stuff there that really do not fit the game's "image", or art style, if you'd like. But as long as YOU want it, I guess all that doesn't matter. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" This really should have answered your question completely, Fleshbane. I'm puzzled that it did not. They are two different games. If you would prefer to play the other game, there are probably ways you can make that happen. Chinese isn't trivial to learn, by any means, but many people have done it. You can too, if you really want to. Wash your hands, Exile!

" if its a diffrent game then call it somthing diffrent and seperate it from the other game interirly so its audiance doesn't get pissed when they find out they are missing out like there POE even seems to have inventory bag extensions like to expand your inventory well your running maps and such thats awsome i dont know |

You think calling it a different name is going to keep people from getting pissed off? You need to meet more people. It's pretty clear you want the game to move to a more pay to win sort of business model. It's fine in China, because they started that way and it was clear that was the way they were going. PoE was founded on the principle of "ethical micro-transactions" and GGG would lose pretty much everything by breaking that trust.
Extending the character's inventory space would be too great an advantage to allow for a fee. They're treading thin ice with stashes, get pretty grey on the "ethical" scale. But they're consistent. We know about that, and they've not gone beyond it. Allowing some players to have larger inventories would open that old wound. Last edited by Shagsbeard#3964 on Nov 24, 2019, 8:56:20 AM

" Sorry, I cannot agree. The creation of multiple versions of the same media--and non-media!--which have been tailored to different countries' audiences has been the norm for decades now, and for very good reasons. Books, movies, TV shows, CDs, games, comics, toys, posters, household products, bathroom products, you name it. It seems to me your objection stems from not understanding the reasons for the above. Different audiences have different expectations, so if you are selling it to them, you need to match those expectations. Video games are no exception. Wash your hands, Exile!

An example of that, close to home: Coke (the beverage) in the US was sweetened with corn syrup, and Coke in Mexico was sweetened with sugar. It created a black market for Mexican Coke in the US.
Don't get me started on the difference between Irish and US Guinness Stout. Night and Day. Last edited by Shagsbeard#3964 on Nov 24, 2019, 9:16:15 AM

I guess I don't understand why their would be two different versions of POE, I had thought it was ONE world wide, but then again I did hear sometime back that the China server had a thing where when u died u could buy points and get back your 10% death loss. Still it would be cool if we at least had access to see their MTX list and if so purchase if we so wanted.

Tencent (Chinese gaming corporation) owns a large majority of GGG (80% I think). Their agreement is to allow GGG free reign of the company, but they will at times request changes for the Chinese servers. If GGG wants, they are free to make those changes global. I couldn’t possibly say what or how much. Tencent controls PoE in China, and GGG controls it everywhere else. I read a Reddit post from a couple years ago from Chris when they made the sale. I don’t really care to dig it up. I’m not sure why you are whining that you aren’t treated “as well as” those under a communist government that controls everything in your life, even how you play a video game.
