Hitting +1 spell is hard though. That’s why it is recommended to start with it.

Regarding prefix cannot be changed, you could do that. It will not ignore the meta mods.

I know the +1 to spell gems is a rare mod, but this is the cheapest way I could think to guarantee the essence t0 flat lightning to spells, +1 lightning gems, and +1 spell gems and both crit suffixes. This method won't require any crit crafts, since I already have the t1 mutli and can craft "prefixes cannot be changed" and add/remove caster until I get t1 crit chance to spells.

If I start with the fractured +1 spell gems, then use the essence to get the t0 flat lightning to spells, I would then have to harvest craft both crit suffixes. So I guess it's a question of whether a ton of caster crafts would be cheaper than a bunch of crit crafts.


By the way, you should block the suffixes first before aug caster, as you will have a problem with remove/add caster in your step 1.

If my math is correct, you would have 1 in 341 chance of hitting the +1 spell gem.

You could also first remove the cold dmg over time, then aug caster. If you hit the % inc spell/fire/cold/light damage pool, you could aug caster again, which will give you 1 in 114 chance of hitting the +1 spell gem. The only problem is you have to remove caster hoping that you'd hit the % inc spell/fire/cold/light damage. If you hit it, congrats, if not, repeat the process. I don't really know how to quantify both options but if my logic is correct, giving you a 1 in 114 chance of hitting the +1 spell gem and 50/50 chance of removing the unnecessary caster, it would give you roughly (I say roughly cause you won't always hit the % inc spell/fire/cold/light damage pool, though it has the highest weighting) 1 in 228 chance to get the +1 spell gem, which is better than 1 in 341.

I won't get to the +1 light gem as it should be way better odds.

Regarding if you start with fractured +1 spell. I think it was mentioned somewhere by BeerLeague that it's better to fracture either of the light mods (+1 light gem or light dmg to spells) which makes sense if you want to get T1 light dmg to spells 'cause you have to reroll it a few times, unless you hit it the first time of course. So there's no problem with that. If you fractured either of the light mods, prefix should be easy. Now with the suffix. You can refer to Fyrenti's crafting guide in page 281 https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2660573/page/281 (Sorry, don't know how to link properly, if someone could teach me how. Also how to tag some person. Lol), you can see there how he finished his suffixes. Basically, bench craft cannot roll attack mods (now that I think of it, if you'd do this latter part, I mean the fracturing of either light mods, you should start with bench crafting cannot roll attack mods :) ). Aug/add/rem crit until you hit global crit multi. Then bench craft prefix cannot change. Aug/add/rem caster until you get crit chance for spells. Then finish with whatever bench craft suffix you want.

This latter part is still easier to do but it would be irrelevant if you really want the T0 light dmg to spells.

I may be wrong in some portion. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm still learning too :)

We can live without it but defenitely helps. Priority is to max out elemental resists.

It is not worth it imo. Loosing too much ehp not to mention the advantages of LL.
Just got Bottled Faith from Cortex boss fight.

Which flask shall I replace for max damage and survivabilty?

Currently using:

Aziris Promise, Diamond of heat, mana of stauch, silver of warding, quicksilver of adrenaline.

Shall I replace Atziris?

Could use minefield instead of swift assembly, the chest only is good for the +proj gems for BL. The trap and mine does not do much.

Generally though, you would be better off with a high ES chest that you can color correctly.

Amulet has 60 on it already. 0 is fine, but sometimes you can sneak in a roll or two.

Drop the silver, not worth the movement speed. I’d replace atziris with dying sun as well.
