Goodbye Charan

Checking in as another old-timer, (I still follow the game every day, but spend much less time playing games nowadays!) I just found out that Charan has left. I have a good sense of his general temperament, so I don't doubt that he'll be back some day, but it is nevertheless quite sad that he's had all his accounts scrubbed and posts deleted. He was always great to me during my interactions with him and is an asset to the Path of Exile community.
I can't say I share his sentiments about how the game has developed -- I think the clear speed meta is the major issue holding this game back at the moment, and most other things have been solid improvements -- but I would guess that he'll be back for 4.0.0 at the latest. " whoever listened to chris and his own understanding of the failure to have items bound to socketing/linking skills could have seen this change coming. thing is, i don't think it's a 100% sure that works out, most item's value is caused only by the 6l sockets. on the other hand, you could easily get good 6l chests for 40c which is a crazy low price. so, yeah, i don't think he left because they made 6l worthless. he could have easily re-negotiated his unique's properties with ggg. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

Pity he did all that. Who knows if he may return. He has always been a two sided, weird guy. He can be likable and insightful in his own way but fairly irritable and capricious sometimes.
Oh well. Add a Forsaken Masters questline
