It's kinda hilarious to see anyone putting those two posters in the same category, given that their posting styles were about as diametrically opposed as any two posting styles can be.

What do I mean by that? Well, some of us tend to create thoughtful posts. Some of us do not.

I'll stop there and let you fill in the rest of the blanks, since it appears that some posters are more aggressively protected by moderation than others, these days.

Not sure if that proves anything, but it's all i can go on in relation to what you are saying.

Weird blunder i reckon, more so because the account still exist's instead of being deleted and the posts still remain.

Imagine my surprise reading my account handle on the last page without any recollection of me posting and then noticing the sig, absence of supporter tags and fully hidden account features :)

Anyway, reported the account asking for it's deletion and removal of the posts he made, which i think is a fair request since the intentions seem fairly obvious.

Yes, well until recently (in Legion League) I was posting and had a light bulb on moment so I tested my theory and was able to create a new account with a "_GGG" ending. To test it I did a simple harmless post in the thread (don't recall what the specific topic was but it had something to do with account names) and sure enough it came up with the Metronomy (golden) color. Naturally it was quickly noticed by the GGG forum mods and that account name was immediately rng changed. But until I actually did that it wasn't even on GGG's radar to filter for someone trying to do that. There are little things that GGG is overlooking so someone creating an account using a console might have been able to get away with using your pc PoE account name.

The wannabe fake accounts are back.
