Random flash hordes attack spawning in from the nether.
Occasionally a spawn portal stays open and we can go through On the other side are large groups of corrupted versions of regular mob more deadly but also more rewarding. Bosses have an RNG chance to drop fragments to the tormented wastelands and you guessed it 4 of which fit in our map device to allow entry into this arena In the arena we fight waves of mobs each more deadly than the last. You can choose to leave after any wave but the more waves you survive the greater the potential rewards however die and you lose it all. How much are you willing to gamble. Speaking of gambling...

Since we have custom leagues could they let us do custom races?
A player could set up a race to say kill Kitava in A5 1EX buy in 100 ppl. 1st place 50ex 2nd 25ex.... kind of thing. Could be interesting A post I made about 4.0...just a thought

In order to fulfill that its gonna have to be something epic more than adding 6 new acts or any league content. What is the number one issue according to a quick review of the boards? Trade. GGGs Exilecon will go the way of Blizzcon 2018 if there is no changes coming to trade. Do we need an AH no, but we need something better - much better. As for 4.0 I thought an interesting idea would be for GGG to create POE2 inside of POE. How? All 10 current acts become optional end game content completed with Alva by going back in time.

My thought in completing this content you would unlock the supreme Elder an exceptionally potent boss.
And 10 new acts are introduced with a completely new story, areas, tile sets, skills, mobs and bosses etc. I have a lot of other ideas that could work within this system such as moving forward mega expansions would basically be POE3, POE4 and so on....this would tie into Chris' statement that they 'want POE to be a game we play forever'. IMO for this or whatever they do to be epic, compete with D4, and be a next gen ARPG GGG must use a new engine. We know new character models are coming lets pray to Kuduku that means a new engine. Some kind of "evolution" league, where an event spawns mobs which evolve into tougher mobs when killed, and maybe morph into a super-boss like some voltron mojo. This would take place within the map.

I would be fine with breach extended league, like smth like mini atlas dedicated for breach 'breach world'. Could be there breachlords or higher rank entities with their domains in that mini atlas. (or extended abyss maybe?).
Just one requirement, no TIMERS or millions upon millions of dps requirement so players must play shifted meta (salty). other than that, would like more balance or at least not forced meta, quality of life improvements is always welcome, performance improvements (or at least laggy mechanic avoidance such as blight encounters). We have enough content. I'd like to see some old leagues revisited and undated and developer time spent fixing and improving what we have.
How about a race league for a couple of months? Or a league where you can skip the Acts and use delve to progress across Wraeclast and move from town to town? How about a league that was played in Standard? One where we could use all our goodies and do cool quests right away? maybe it could begin in maps and involve in clearing the Atlas. Beast league 2.0
1- Capturing beasts is the same as we have now. Maybe adding even more beasts with new leagues thematic rewards (delve beast, legion beast, synt beast, etc...). 2- Create a new area called "Beast Arena of Death" 3- Create a new "Beast Arena of Death ladder" that functions like lab ladder. 3a- The daily ladder resets daily. The week total points ladder resets weekly. 3b- The daily ladder track beasts individually. The week ladder tracks player total sum of points. 4- Players can choose one at a time Yellow beast and make her fight in the Beast Arena of Death, Random enemies will spawn and the further your beast kills, more points it get. 4a- Battles are to the death, so when the beast dies it's gone forever. 4b- Beasts retain all the mods they had when captured (including ghosts and essences). 4c- The random enemies are the same for all players but change each day (similar to how lab works). 4d- The Beast Arena of Death has a stacking corruption that drastically reduces healing/regeneration and leech effects as the battle goes on. (to avoid infinite battles scenarios). 5- Players can also challenge friends to beast duels to the death just for fun. 6- The 3 beasts with more points at the end of each day receive special jewel(similar to the lab ladder one). The players with the most accumulated points at the end of the week also receive a special jewel. 7- At the end of each battle rewards chests appears based on the amount of points earned. Pros: Creates a market for yellow beasts Add another competitive ladder in the game. Might be fun if executed properly. Cons: Not profitable for the average zoom zoom player. |

There are a bunch of league mechanics already built into the game, e.g., breach, abyss, syndicate, delve, etc.
How about a "nostalgia" league. It just let's you pick a nostalgia league when you log in and then each area entered would have that league mechanic in it. This would be fun but the big advantage is that GGG could use most of those three months fixing bugs and improving performance instead of developing a new league mechanic. That's pretty much what a Legacy league would be. They need to tweek the interface a bit, but that shouldn't be such a big deal.
The problem we face is that they have a bunch of employees. They need to work. They don't all work on the stuff we would like them to. Saying "take some time off these leagues and work on something else" is also saying "fire a bunch of people and overwork the ones that stay". |

Implying that they already have a system for making use of employee time that is not league dependent. In any case, all businesses face a similar issue of trying to match employee skills with the skills demanded by the market. Traditional solutions like restructuring, re-skilling, or even 'firing a bunch of people' are still available, even if not desirable. |

Anyone without any bugs or performance improvements to work on could easily work on PoE 4.0 or even a future league.
