Announcing Path of Exile: Blight

I wonder why so many people are complaining about the towers, since they're just a support mechanic. If your dps is high enough, you can clear blight mobs without their aid.

Не понравилось обновление. Опять Вирь на пол карты. Скорей всего я покину данную игру. Т.к. она и так однообразна. Ище и лиги такие, не говняные. Синтез и Легион говнище редкое, а тут еще и это.

Still, the master mission engagement control upgrades might save this game for me. Plus I enjoy tower defense.

Uffda... I personally will probably enjoy this, since I like tower defense and the Summoner playstyle, but I can see this league will likely be very polarizing. Tower defense isn't quite as popular as you guys think, and the folks who don't like it tend to REALLY not like it.

Oh well, this looks like it'll be a fun league for me at least.

The only thing I want to know: have you fixed syndicate item unveiling or is it still unchanged?

I can see where if you fall behind even a little on defense upgrades, it will snowball quickly and you'll die.

This is probably why summoner mechanics and the Necromancer ascendancy are getting an overhaul.

These are the skills people might flock to in droves when they realize they simply can't micromanage tower upgrades/logistics AND monster clearance fast enough to survive.

It's still going to be an area-denial game, just like it always has been, this time with an emphasis on multitasking.

I used to say this as a joke and now it's real. It's like Trump. Think of the most stupid thing to happen and you know what's up next. Looks like I'ma skip this league. But Korea will be happy, I guess.

Arc Totem is back :).

Throw 5 Arc Totems in the middle and round around to activate Towers ;).

Or maybe Vortex, Shock Nova or Ice Nova Totems with screen filling AoE radius? Or one of the melee Totems? Flame Totem? Blight Totem?

Or ... Cyclone again ;). For sure not as effective when it comes to clean up all lanes.
