info barely matters when the mechanic is clear.. it's tower defense if you're talking about extra crafting that's something else people to figure out alt+tab when it goes live.

the extra things on the patch are somewhat okay.

They put lots of work in Synthesis kid and many of us love strategy playstyle, you can't just dump your years or even months of hardwork instead you try to make it good which they do for example the Bestiary league.


You are just here playing free game shitting at developers, just for a once try to perceive things from the developer perspective

Years or months of work doesn't justify bad outcomes either, it just means they wasted years and months worth of work from bad decisions. In that regard, Bestiary is still regarded as one of the worst releases of a league, and overall presence as a league choice. It was a horrible league, that had taken far too much time and effort to design with the result we got.

This upcoming league is just another example of GGG having this very archaic and sadistic design philosophy of there always needing to be a negative outcome before players will appreciate when a good one shows up. They design these leagues to be good, bad, or indifferent based on which point in the year it is, just like their justification for trading and other elements needing to be painful in order for players to enjoy the game as a whole.

A normal design / outlook would be to strive for improvement, or at the very least continuation of what is already working. Only very peculiar people inflict negative outcomes or pain on their subjects in order to achieve a desired outcome. Humility, is also not one of GGG's strong points, or actual cognitive learning.

Hence, we keep seeing this repeating of past mistakes; and then some players going "just give them/it a chance!". Um, no, we've done this already the past several years ...we know how this is going to go, we already know we won't like it because its a stark similarity to every other time they tried to make us wait and like it.


I understand what you trying to say as we know sometimes GGG cant make everyone (literally everyone) happy even in legion league people were ranting for too much loot, very high map drops, and those guys piss me off as nothing can make them happy they will always cry

I think you misunderstood me. As a Poe player I always like new gameplay mechanics GGG introduces where we have to make strategies like betrayal, synthesis(bad at release but fixed after a month) and this new league is hype for me as mindless killing and looting is no fun for me but this is my opinion, right? I am the one type of gamer that GGG is making happy, that gamer who doesn't rant about every stuff and have forgiving nature as GGG always fixes because they care.
After Legion (which was awesome) where clear & movement was the only thing that mattered I'm happy with Tower Defense league. Also changes to saboteur are really welcome.

One (maybe a bit off-topic question): there won't be Flashback league this time? :(

See ya in 3.9 i think. GGG should understand one, just one important thing. Simplicity is the key. Breach and Legion big proof of this keystone, but what we have in 3.8 - tower defense.
Looks very interessing. I personaly dont like tower defence, but i'll definitely try it to change my mind.
The master rework is also very nice. I'm looking forward for an other 3 month of fun and engaging gameplay. Well done GGG!

Visually it looks good as always, but to be honest its the first League I think I might skip. For a game that's built around fast pace gameplay this is slowing things down a lot and I dnt like it. Maybe I will lvl a char just to see how it is but I'm more excited about the core changes looks gr8.

I wonder if some people actually have fun in the game the way they talk and play...
If you want to go super fast and farm the same shit the whole day and onely do what's efficient instead of just having some fun. Then just ignore the content and do that.
