Soo...where is the extra skill hotbar? All screenshots show nothing of it.
Not sure what to think.

I already hate it when I get attacked in the middle of a convo with alva/zana when deciding missions, but this looks even worse.
Click and go leagues are popular due to simplicity but it's easy to understand that all leagues can't be the same.

I don't mind that they're trying different things. This one just happens to not be my cup of tea. I really don't think tower defense has any place in a hack and slash ARPG. I want to hack. I want to slash. Not micromanage towers or wait for them.

Normally I lament leagues being as short as they are, but this time...well, here's hoping 3.9 gets me drooling again.

I'm actually more curious how they're going to manage this on consoles. It isn't like XBox Elite and Scuff/Razer Raiju controllers are the norm (or even affordable for most). That's what I'm really wondering right about now.

A few hot takes:

  • Well, at least GGG realized that people were unhappy with the way leagues were rewarding ever-out-of-control clearspeed. I'll admit being iffy on how well the mechanic meshes with the game (see: labyrinth traps still don't feel right) but at least there was an attempt!

  • ...Getting a free notable passive on our amulet. Can we please STOP with this ludicrous level of power creep already? A lot of folk might think it's no big deal... But they don't realize that this means we can basically now tack on erstwhile-inaccessible nodes for free. A few big ones I can think of are "Constitution" (+14% max life?!), "Disciple of the Slaughter" (minimum frenzy charge + chance for frenzy + damage per frenzy?) and "Soul of Steel" (+1 to max elemental resistances?) At least Mortal Conviction was reworked and Infused Shield was removed; Keystone-gated notables would've been broken AF.

  • Good to see some much-needed reworks to things like the master system. While I will not be playing the league, good to know that Standard will become a bit more playable.

  • Will we get word of an improvement to our fragment stash tabs? It was kinda dumb that I went through all of Legion league with my tab not holding objects (timeless splinters & emblems) that ostensibly should go there. And if we gotta use a normal tab to store our Legion scarabs... And no, for those trying to rush and say "obviously it's coming in this patch," I'll remind everyone that Enhanced breachstones have now gone through 3 leagues without spots for them. I mean, it only took them half a year to make fossils stackable, and we STILL don't even have a tab for them.

Honestly, I think GGG would be best served by making a second currency tab and lowering the price of the original one so that both are just a bit more than the current one costs. They're pretty mandatory and not having much more room for growth on the original means a new one is desparately needed. Make the combo of the two stash tabs 120 points so it's seen as a value, especially in light of being kind of mandatory for the sake of space.

Having no place to put the fragments got annoying this league for sure.

this kinda things happens when you have no Competition in market.
sophisticated crafting wasn't enough now we have sophisticated league. im not dumb but i know PoE is (or was!) ARPG game.

Can someone explain this for me: When we use oil enchant for amulet, it grands the buff of the skill node or just like the Intuitive Leap jewl, that allows the node to be allocated without being connected to the tree ?
