Exception [Present]

Woow still having the same shity problem exception present comon GGG do something about it i dont want to go and play D3 ffs, make this a quick patch and we all can rest and play.

ty, now get your ass to work.
No response from GGG...

Unplayable game in HC, which is what I love to play...just uninstalled game for the last time.

This single bug has killed me 5x this league.

Thanks.
Absolute bonkers.

Ripped 4 times yesteday (lost about 8 hours of playtime) due to the disconnects.
Sometimes since the latest patch it gets so bad, that i have to forcefully shut down my pc cause it destroys my graphic driver.

Setup:

CPU: i7 6600k
GPU: 1080ti
Ram: 12gb DDR4
Harddrive: 1gb SSD ScanDisk

I am really curious what is causing this, like most of the people it started hitting me from 3.7, got worse with every new small update to the point where it is unbearable...
Quick question :

I got this problem every now and then.

My game performance also is really poor.
It switches from unplayable to 60fps in the same area.

Last league I played on 4k wihh all settings to max on 60fps. I can reinstall the game which helps for maybe an hour playtime and then everything is messed up again.

Does anyone of you got a Clou? Thanks for your help
I started having this issue today, it began with an exception crash during a map, and then it started happening just at the login screen at one point. After restarting my comp it let me get into the game. I closed the game and did a file check in Steam that returned "all files successfully validated".

We'll see how it goes..

30min later edit: just crashed with "exception; present"

Next day edit: reinstalled directly from GGG download, crashed on first load with "exception; present"

If anyone finds anything out about this please let me know! I can't even play now, awesome.

This issue started for me yesterday.
I'm not sure what changed, but I checked my client.txt and it never occurred for me before then.
I haven't been able to stay ingame for more than a few minutes since.

I've tried reinstalling, completely wiping my install and local configuration.
I'm on the latest driver, which was already installed for a while.

Left the game running for a while, doing absolutely nothing and returned to it later to test (which is why there's a gap in timestamps)

Edit:

Tried the 'Shadow + Global Illumination' setting as reported earlier in the thread.
It unfortunately made no difference.

Edit 2:

Sad update. Confirmed my case to be a dying GPU issue.
Was able to reproduce crashing and instability using 3DMark.
This likely explains at least for me the sudden appearance while nothing related seemed to have changed.

Try to remove oc on afterburner.
I removed oc from memory first because i know it was barely stable.

This might have done it for me. few hours in so its a bit early to say but.

Worth a shot if you have not tried yet.

*edit1 lowered mem oc only 100mhz from original oc
*edit2 no crashes 7 hours
*edit3 this fixed it for me, but it obviously isnt the case for everyone.

Lol GGG really doesn't care do they
true
Did you guys check your graphic cards temperature ? I'm playing on a laptop and with the summer days i noticed my graphic cards was reaching 90°C quite often as my CPU. Checking the event manager i realize that all the error was link to my Nvidia driver (nvlddmkm.sys) and crashes occured most of the time when i reached high temperature.

Finally i open my laptop, remove some dust and also remove the battery to win some °C. Now my graphic card stay under 85° and i'm playing since 3h without crashing/lagging/etc .

Before that, i was not able to play more than couple of minutes. i tried almost everything (multiple driver update and test, game clean reinstall, nvlddmlm.sys trick, change ingame graphical option, power management, etc..), even a complete reset of my computer.
If like me, you see nvlddmlm.sys error related in your event manager i suggest to take a look on google, there is plenty of discussion on this topic on how to solve them. its a known issue of a lot of nvidia graphic card

I'm not sure that will work for all of us experiencing crashes but for now it's fine for me.

What a satisfying feeling, this league is fun, was a pitty to not enjoy it cause of technical issue.
