Yeah this is interesting question, because, even POb shows that many other gems are a lot more DPS gain than close combat... But question is, does POB calculate Close Combat support gem correctly?
If yes, i dont really see the benefit of using it.

PoB doesn't calculate it at all, but I added its damage to an item ... so if you use other gems, obviously damage goes up

Is it better to alteration spam a foil or fossil craft it, and if fossil

crafting what fossils should I use? I have tried doing Jagged, Prismatic,

Corroded, and Sanctified, but it seems a little too expensive with no results!

Having fun dueling these so far while I save currency

I'm currently using fortify instead of Infused Channelling Support, allowing me to switch Fortify support on my leap slam to blood magic and free up a ring without having to have a -mana cost roll.

Thought it might be a helpful tip for any one having mana/int issues while some of us are still poor :)

Hello, thank you for the guide. I enjoy it a lot.
Somehow I managed to scale my cyclon aoe to the point where it is as tiny as possible. Have tried to find my mistake but I am simply overwhelmed and don't know where i should start to look.

Never had a problem tho since I only noticed my tiny aoe after I have watched some posted clips here. Now i feel like a driving a Smart in a Formula One race... i will get to my goal but i my car should be a bit more powerful.

Does anyone here mind telling me what I did wrong or what i have forgotten?
I do not know what i can do to fix it.

Just about to roll a new build, have a decent lump of currency to make it. 15ex+.


Looking to do all content cleanly. What would you recomend, DPS champion tree or tankier? Slayer Dps or Tankier?
