Developer Q&A - Part II

The question about private leagues I still want answered is if they'd add some WEIRD mods that don't make the game necessarily easier or hard, but strange. Like locking everyone to one class but open ascendancies (like Marauder League).
I hope that when the world comes to an end I can breathe a sigh of relief; because there will be so much to look forward to.
Sulphite Sharing & Betrayal Sharing needs to go into 3.7 and be a huge focus imo

Alot of people dont even realize how much of a difference this change will bring

Finally you can have your "delve" characters that only do "delve" and mapping characters that can farm sulphite.

These changes are fucking huge and its really upsetting to see a vague response with no certainty of when it will ever come out

oh fucking hell. This just stinks of a real hard nerf to sulphite now that super zoom zoom 30 second T8 map builds will be farming it for their delve character. anybody else excite to get 400 sulphite from a red map? cause you know balancing it for account wide is gonna get it nerfed into oblivion. inb4 250c scarabs.


yep, that would be the result. sulphite sources likely get optimised for people having one character farming it and another character using it.
if you don't have 2 chars you're fucked.

players that argued for sharing sulphite across accounts run several chars per league and profit from it.
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

This is an ongoing topic of discussion internally. We don't have anything to announce at the moment, but please know that many developers are sympathetic towards your thoughts.

Decorating hideout is very time-consuming [and difficult] activity. If players are voluntarily spending their time on something that can't be measured in "exalted orbs per hour", then i can't justify hiding subject of this activity behind grind mechanics for any reason.

Masters should give unlimited amount of any decorations for free. I don't see how this can break the game or make it worse in any aspect.

HAH so stupid, now players will not be able to farm betrayel in multiple different ways, without using multiple accounts.


You guys really need an option to turn off account sharing for this crap so players can have options, instead of taking them all away.


Rip having a safehouse setup and a mastermind setup on different characters to farm different things. I fully agree can we get an option to NOT share betrayal account wide?

Please DON'T do it! If you balance league-wide sulphite around very fast map farmers (sulphite farmers), it would hurt all players who don't have dedicated sulphite farmers.

Are there plans to make standalone players be able to track how many hours they have spent playing the game?

It's difficult because we track the playtime by character, and that's lost when you delete a character. So if we started tracking it on a per-account basis now, it'd potentially be missing historical data.

Can you at least let us view the total number of hours played on the characters that currently exist on the account?
either as new ingame command or add it to the current /played or on the website somewhere
