Developer Questions and Answers

With the announcement of Synthesis not being in 3.7, will we be unable to synthesize fractured items at all once the league ends or will there be some other way to handle it.
I wonder if Hillock-Senpai will notice me when I go to town??
I didn't have a chance to review all 54 previous pages of questions, so whether it's been asked before or not:

I've enjoyed Path of Exile since 2012. I've logged more hours in it than all other games combined, which really says something about the staying power and freshness of the gameplay. I've felt as if that hasn't been the case for some time now. Though 3.0 brought us ten acts, and we have more content than ever, the gameplay has experienced a significant flattening in styles with a growing emphasis on clearing speed being the objective best way to play the game.

I understand that this can be more exciting than a slower pace, but it also necessitates all-or-nothing mechanics like invulnerability phases and telegraphed one-shot attacks. I think this is inherently killing variation in present and future content.

With the above in mind, my question is: "Do you believe the current pace of play is ideal? Are there plans to make alternative playstyles - like maximizing increased rarity of items found - competitive and rewarding?"
Ruby light of Songbird dreaming,
Daring King of Swords deceiving,
Queen of Sirens left in grieving,
Star of Wraeclast evermore.
Will we ever get the possibility to bind a key to level up gems, so that we don't have to manually click each one of them?
What's being done to address the discordant themes presented by the quantity of different game play things added over the years?

I like Alva, but is the temple in theme with the game? By it self, yes. But is it in theme with with Betrayal? In theme with Harbinger? Delve? Bestiary?

Every one of these are fun and in theme with PoE by themselves, but are not in theme with each other. And so there are these islands of gameplay that don't fit with each other.

This was said by other people, but I want to put my own words in on it -

What's being done about the quantity of item drops that don't matter?

And this is the most serious of serious questions, not to be taken lightly -

Is the answer to the question "Are you going to divulge fishing secrets before 4.0?" the same as the answer to this question?
When you guys have time to play, do you use Path Of Building for theorycrafting your builds?

If not, can you please share with the community what is your method to create a build without using external tools?

I believe that if the player can always have a solid plan to create a build, without using external tools or following any guide, then he will have better experience playing the game.

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before in the 54 pages.

With the addition of more and more content into the core game, it seems to be getting more and more alt unfriendly.

Are there any plans to streamline the content to make it more account bound rather than character bound?

Having to redo a syndicate board or refarm sulphite is a chore. Clearing a map with one character, then dropping a TP, and having a 2nd alt come in and just pick up all the sulphite nodes is tedious.

Thanks
What people/jobs are needed to create a (3D) game and where do you learn the skills for those jobs?
Are any improvements or additions to wand skills in the works? Will we see them within the next two leagues?
I understand if GGG is against auction house. Players visiting other players' Hideouts to see the MTXs of others helps in boosting sales as a business.

However, with the current trade system, is there a way your team can include simple features such as permanent auto-reply function or UI that works like DND while we are doing content? DND is out of the picture as it feels rude when I am looking for buyers for my items.

It's frustrating to keep setting the auto reply every instance when we wish to be accountable to potential buyers, but I can't reply when I am in a tough situation during delve or boss fight.

In the meanwhile, is there a better system in place to stop these abuses? If not it will appear that you are encouraging these acts and that builds bad rep after a while. (Some players may lean towards thinking GGG supports RMT on a tin foil hat theory)

These people need to face the consequences!

1. Price fixers
2. Auto bot traders (although they respond the fastest and may meet ALL our currency crunches)
3. Unaccountable buyers ignoring trade requests multiple times

I was concern why aura Discipline have flat Add Energy Shield, but Determination or Vitality have not? and still Determination cost 50% of mana. Btw, in game exists many ways to penetrate elemental resistances, does game some way to penetrate some physical reduction? No, except curse- Vulnerability. If mobs have enurance charges and some physical reduction mods, then you just do very mych less damage.
And why we can't teleport to out hideout when Elder killed us?
Why we still have to teleport in towns when we logged in?
