A couple of questions for Chris.

Does he play MTG Arena?
If so, what is his favorite deck to play?
Also, what is his favorite card and / or planeswalker that came out with War of the Spark?


P.S. I just recently found out that like 90% of the league names from PoE came from old sets of MTG lmao
GitGud, GitNerfed, Repeat.
I probably wont get answered, however I have to ask, when is console going to not feel like you're playing SSF with a trade board? I can see other characters in the towns, but I can't interact with them unless I want to randomly trade someone for whatever reason. Would be nice to have a chat, guild, party system in the game, since it is a community driven game. However if the answer is simply "we're working on it" with out giving an actual date or anything, just ignore this, we've heard that enough.

1) Does PoE have exact UI guideline?

In some points, there are what I feel that UI is not unified in this game.
For example...
- Betrayal Investigation window has no close button (in other words, cannot be closed with mouse operation).
- Pantheon window cannot be opened from menu (in other words, cannot be opened with mouse operation).
- Bestiary window, Delve Azurite window, and Prophecy window can be opened always, but Betrayal Investigation window, Incursion Temple window, and Delve Subterranean Chart windows cannot be opened without speaking with the masters.

For comfortable play, I think a unified UI is very important.


2) Do you guys think that input customization is fine as it is?

I think that the function is slightly lacking.

First, not to assign hotkey for an action is not allowed. Because almost operations for opening window is in menu, to assign hotkeys for all operations is not needed, but full settings are required. I know that a hotkey is not assigned by the way of conflict of 2 key assignment, but this is just error condition, so is not suitable way. It is good to have a check box for "Do not use".

Second, there are few skills that can be assigned to left click. I understand that left click is needed for choosing an object, but it is possible for problem to solve it. Some skills do not work unless press shift key when assigned it to left click (e.g. Incinerate, Blight, Charged Dash, etc...). Please make all skills the same behavior as those skills. Or skill 1(left click) only, it is OK that replace "Always attack without moving" option to "Attack only when stay".
Will GGG be committed to keeping the game hardcore, in the face of complaints from certain vocal sectors?

Will GGG continue to make sure trade continues to have its cost, to make sure that item acquisition through play remains the core of the game?

Does GGG expects us to read through all the other questions before we post our own questions?

The GGG staff are stuck on an isolated large island, filled with dangerous wildlife and Emus. What are their reactions?
How does GGG take into consideration of the people who don't complain because they are more or less satisfied with the game? Do I have to keep posting that I like the current state of trade (and how hardcore the game is) to counter all the naysayers?
Other than +1 for addressing the state of trade that empowers antisocials, will you ever consider going against Chris' manifesto of "bugs are ok" and devote a league to rewriting the netcode to fix desync?

I'm not sure if playing overseas is a contributing factor, but the game feels atrocious. It is a horrible experience from leveling to mapping and speed farming. Almost every boss encounter, there is a jump here or there (excessive movement) which mostly ends up deathless. But, skills such as whirling blades, especially with faster attacks, feel completely broken and lead to frustrating deaths in quick mechanic boss fights. After following some build for a trickster that uses whirling blades, I quickly realized it is utterly unplayable as every 3rd skill use, on average, will catapult me into a desync frenzy. It can jump back and forth multiple times and makes any boss encounter an absolutely abysmal experience unless I 1 shot him (doesn't happen in red maps). The build was based on movement with this skill alone. So, no running. Absolute mayhem and not in a fun way.
It even allows me to leave a lighting orb in an area I "wasn't" really at, yet (confirmed by mobs dying after I desynced backwards). Thankfully, that isn't exploitable enough (at least, to my knowledge) to merit urgency.

The same, horrific desync effect, applies now with a new build that simply uses flasks for movement. Countless times the server lazily updates the client with "oops, you are actually trying to run into a wall and are now surrounded+body blocked by mobs, good luck". Obviously, this spells certain death and frustration. I'm not even thinking about attempting endgame boss fights (you think you side stepped Atziri's flameblast? Think again. Think 6 times again).

In the past, I used to play Unreal Tournament with the same relatively high ping of 100, being overseas, but never experienced such atrocious issues. On the contrary, I knew my aim was already going to be off a little and adapted enough (vehicles and AoE weapons) to keep a steady top 1 match ranking.
Now, in 2019, I can't play a single player match of an ARPG without issues?

It is an understandable business decision not to upgrade, believe me I know, but the longer you wait, the more painful it will become. Believe me, I know. I wasn't around to experience the difference when the "predictive" band-aid was implemented but it's just a band-aid.
Will we be seeing more leagues like Incursion, Delve, Betrayal, Synthesis where you are kind of forced to run the league mechanic as it caps out (you have to run a temple every 11 maps as an example). Is there any plans to go back to something like Breach where you can stack up breachstones and run them whenever you want?
Do you have any plans on making the players character Voice acting for the acts introduced on The Fall of Oriath expansion?
is it possible to Font Device can be Influenced on uberlab with carving on wall + opening chest ?

and why lab ladder #1 guy can get jewel its the worst think in this game because everybody know texas server have faster loading screen time and in lab run time loading screen time are counting

everybody know teh_hammer using map hack since 2 year at least and after few league he get bann but no one can get jewel reward cause of his hack.

every league have new gems and new enchants so every league uberlab farmers job is getting worse and havent got any good new to lab farmers since lab release

And when have ggg build in league generally nerfing this build enchant so again lab farmers killed from ggg



Are there any talks about new Weapon Types coming to POE? Like Crossbows like Einhar, or Spell books for Mages?
