Developer Questions and Answers

How do you keep your mindset fresh when thinking about POE? I can imagine that sometimes - much like the players - you get stuck with a certain point of view about a game design issue.
10 pages so haven't scrolled through, but:

How many times has the team collectively died playing Sekiro?
With the synthesis implicit being as powerful as they are is it even possible to not have the crafting aspect of the league go core? To elaborate a bit, if the most powerful items, by such a wide margin, resides in standard alone as legacy items one would think that it potentially creates a big pull factor towards playing that league to be able to obtain these items.

While I understand you might not want to answer this mid league I'm still very curious about your view on the subject so if it doesn't get answered here perhaps we can get your thoughts on the subject towards the end of the league in some other format.

Are there any plans on adding Auls set as MTX, aswell as other well known figures sets such as daresso etc.

A lot of the league mechanics lately have been about going faster and faster. As a player who finds that kind of gameplay extremely unfun, do you have any plans for more things that aren't on a timer, that someone can take their time with if they want?
Similarly, do you have any plans for content that requires or encourages you to play slower so that those of us who do have a slower playstyle don't feel penalised for it?

As a final question, I know more hotkeys is something you're already looking in to. Would you consider something as simple as an auras or buffs interface. Something where you can set all of your auras to a single button press for when you die with them on, or all of your instant-cast buffs to a single press?
The rumor says 3.7 will be the "melee patch", what is the developer's approach to change that archetype? There will be only numerical changes or we'll have some major mechanic reworks?

It seems multi-modded rares are an order of magnitude more powerful than most good uniques in the game. I'm curious what the philosophy is behind this?, as it detracts from the enjoyment of uniques dropping.
In all POE decisions do you consider the causal player that wants to play 1 or 2h or just ignore this kind of player?

Also, there is any latino in your team who likes soccer?

With increases to clearspeed, potions have very high uptime even on suboptimal builds. I feel like 2013 PoE had a ground breaking potion system, but now they are just permanent buffs that are tiring to piano.

Are there any plans to address this in one direction or another (either making it easier to pop potions every few seconds or make them situational again)?
