Developer Questions and Answers

Why do Memory Nexus bosses still gain their zone mods, despite being blatantly overtuned for their rewards, especially the Cortex?
Question 1:
Can you please give us an insight into the train of thought behind forcing players to interact with Incursion, Delve and Prophecy by spreading the crafting recipes "mainly" between those mechanics?

Question 2:
You seem very certain that using the Atlas as a hub for everything is the way to go, forcing players to use maps as the base for everything. Are there any plans to let people play more of the content they'd like to play, without being forced to map?
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
Will you consider further iterating on the PS4 trade system and implement it on PC?
I want to touch on Three Important topics , so here it goes.

1)As others have said, about trading system it would be great to make it more accessible and easier to work with, undoubtedly it would be one of the greatest improvements.

2)Is it possible to have something that could give more specificity in terms of choice in the content/field you want to contribute?

E.g. some sort of 'house' that could increase the chance of having more sulphite zones and less of the rest. Obviously grouping and rotations are options to narrow your scope but right now we are being bombarded with different types of masters ''randomly'' while mapping , Imagine once the amounts of leagues go higher than 30 , it would create a lot of indecisiveness and confusion.

3)The game is pushing the player to have super sonic speed , it's not healthy for the game at all, specially this type of game which is about variety of build construction and uniqueness.

Lastly I wanted to mention that I am hopeful for the melee improvements to come.

Thank you for your time
Don't try to hold it, flow with it.

Q1: Can we fish?

Q2: Why we can't fish?
I think it surely is hard to balance the same end game content to be fun for both completely different leagues: SC and HC. How much do you guys think about it while designing endgame boss encounters? Do you try to design it around the difficult on SC and treat it like an extra challenge for really skilled HC players? Or do you design it in a way that must be possible to be completed by an average player on HC league?
Betrayal still has several issues, beyond the bugs of fewer than three encounters spawning and lag. These issues include telegraphs being insufficient relative to the deadliness of the attacks (e.g. It That Fled's chaos "grenade"), and Betrayal encounters are still generally overtuned. Are there plans to address this?
Can members have the option to leave private leagues from the league page, please? :P

Why do you keep ruining the things we enjoy(delve/perandus/breach/arc gem/etc) and force us to grind through boring stuff to even get to play it in the first place?(endgame map system, synthesis, betrayal, etc) Literally started playing grim dawn to enjoy a game that wasn't made boring by the constant need for novelty. Right now, ggg is nearly as bad as the people screaming for forced diversity in companies. Just let us play the game in the manner we enjoy. Rather than constantly strangle the old meta for some new blasé stuff.

And don't lump this one together with the people asking for an auctionhouse. But a 1 chaos orb shop would be much more straightforward. Every item you put on it costs a chaos and doesn't require us to trade endlessly.

Why do you keep developing the equivalent of bloatware(your new leagues) to force people into buying more stash tab? It's turned from a convenience into a necessity. Especially synthesis was silly.

How about we go back to 4 month leagues with a 1 month turbo event in between to make sure we aren't forced to bugtest your new leagues each time? Just add 10 build defining uniques that are easy to get and 2 new skillsgems at the 2 month mark.

For a game that thrives on build diversity, you guys keep reducing the amount of options. How about connecting the XP modifier up to our movespeed? This way not everybody is forced to play sonic builds. How about bringing back instant leech for the people who enjoyed the old ES stuff. How about adding more options rather than taking away the good stuff and destroying them. Quill rain being a prime example of this.

thx

Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.
We hate to say, but ProjectPT was right.
