Path of Exile: Synthesis FAQ
Hi everybody,
I played the league for about four hours then went back to my betrayal char in standard. PoE doesn't need more fragments. I like the voice acting in betrayal. Still miss Elrond's mad ravings though. However it is worth mentioning that I am a typical GamerDad. Delve is best for me because it is so short and I can basically respond to my family's demands at once. Oh, and did I mention that I don't dig fragments?! ;-) Ta very much. The light at the end of the tunnel is nothing but a muzzleflash.

I love people who complain about a league, and when it's massively improved 3 weeks later they come, taunt and say "it's too late guys I've already quit and I'll never come back you had your chance ah ah you're too slow !".
That kind of people who typically puts unatural emphasis on Grim dawn's yearly expansion which they have paid for "the first few weeks full bugged version" 18$, to play it for a month like a poe filler until they come back to it. ok. i see it now. You disrespect players so much, that it's "FAQ" to all remaining players that still play after wasting time on unfinished league. It's time for "FAQ" now? I mean wtf are u doing?

while i do like randomness to get items, not knowing what I get from synthesising does not induce me to play this. I guess, will wait until people figure out, how do get what I need ,so I will not waste my time on getting it.

" You are perfectly right! GGG makes big mistake - they are trying to design the game mechanics to be optimised for professional players, Twitch streamers, real money farmers. The more RNG layer they apply, the more time is required to spend with the game. It sounds great for a developer to force people to spend more time with their game, but it is stupidity! Majority of their clients CANNOT play 16 hours daily!!! People have schools, work, family, some other hobbies. It is not possible to play that much time. It should be obvious that typical customer - in this case PoE player, can play 2-3 hours daily and likely not all days per week. If GGG will keep those clients unsatisfied and then upset, they will finally be lost. GGG knows the problem, they probably already can see that they lose money - 55% of players lost after 3 weeks of the new league existence... Great achievement! Congratulations GGG. This is why we will have: " Because you have to pay ever 3 months for the new Map Stash Tab, to make this game playable in a comfortable way. It would be more fair to just ask players to pay for a quarterly subscription, maybe not obligatory, but giving some benefits (access to some premium content, double XP, whatever). It seems that new: Celestial Wings, Necrotic Cloaks, Stygian Aura Effects, Dragon Whelp Pets, Raven Demon Wings, Lava Aura Effects... etc, etc, etc... every week more and more decorations, did not deliver as much money as expected. Im just stopping by to say that I hope that synthesis WON'T be in the core game after this league. Don't wanna be mean just telling what I feel about this mechanic.

" I sort of feel like this, a bit like Betrayal (which was amazing in all other ways) and Delves (really disliked that one since it took so long each time my sulphite bar was full, and when I wanted to play it I couldn't because I had to stop and refill sulphite), or Bestiary (one shot builds suddenly flaxed off because we weren't supposed to kill mobs? In an ARPG?). My personal favorite was the temple one. 30 seconds to run a temple and pick an architect. Every seven maps we did a temple. Simple, straightforward, easy to get into, and some awesome rewards with currency and picking the right rooms to upgrade. Betrayal was *so* complicated overall, and this league, well, tried the Nexus, but same thing as running maps and finding memories? Want to progress but don't have the right puzzle pieces? Run maps, but the puzzle pieces we find aren't the good ones? I don't want to whine too much since Poe provides free entertainment but I think if a small part of constructive criticism gets through its a good thing. Edit: As a casual player, when are we finally getting something that allows to quickly see if we have already done a map or not? Placing map in inventory, opening atlas, opening inventory, clicking map to see if it was done or not. So many steps. Surely a dynamic tooltip could be done, right? I do miss games where we have addons since the players rise up and fix the game where it is lacking instead of having to wait for a dev to decide it warrants some time.
