Thank you for ignoring pride and ripping into the leagues guts to fix this. This is the only league I've played where interacting with it makes me feel bad.

Trampling of Planned Paths
The generation of Distant Memories and Memory Amplifiers now occurs when acquiring a Memory, instead of when placing one. This will reduce the rate that Distant Memories trample your planned paths.

So you're changing memory modifiers from applying to 20-30 memories in long chains, to only applying to a single memory and the ones immediately adjacent to it (so a maximum of 5 under ideal situations) - but you still want to insist on randomly stomping over those memories at random?

With the ability to move memories around path disruption is going to be MUCH less of an issue. But now the loss of memories that have been enhanced is a MUCH greater issue, so you're still having random memory stomping but now in a way we have even LESS control over? I mean, sorry, but WTF?

Boss Encounters
The Synthesis Boss Encounters now have the mods of the Memory that the portal to their areas was created from. This will in general make them more difficult, especially at higher levels.

THe boss encounters currently feel massively unrewarding, with only a miniscule chance of actually droping their unique items. Which from a certain perspective makes sense as the chance to fight them isn't all that rare unlike previous league boss mechanics. But massively enhancing the difficulty of boss encounters that are fundamentally unrewarding is one hell of a bitter pill to swallow at this point.

Bosses in league mechanics like Delve and now Synthesis that are affected by 'map mod' type mechanisms need to scale their rewards far more significantly with the mods being placed on them. Right now the risk vs rewards balance of mods being applied to boss encounters is a complete joke.

Good changes, but don't undo them when inevitably deciding to fold Synthesis into the core game like with Syndicate.
