Expect something or everything to go wrong, then when it does you're not disappointed because you expected it. Expect the game to actually release on time without any problems and you're just inviting disappointment: lots of us made that mistake with this very game many times already.

EU PS4 owners do not get too excited because.........

I put a message out on another forum about it being on the US Playstation
site but not on the EU site and this is the response I got.

If its not out on that date I may abandon plans for playing on my PS4. Dreading the eventual mistake of not releasing it in EU initally.
Would have been perfect timing if it actually released in february for me personally. Loads of time now. Not so much in april and later. Feels sad man.

will there be some opening events? or mtx promotions?
i wanna fully migrate to ps4 since 3.6 is unplayable with my potato pc 4-13fps rip directx9. if we could only transfer our pc mtx stuff to ps4 :( i already spent $100 on mtx end up cant play poe due removal of directx9

well as i know, you can make us ps4 account in europe also, so you can play poe with us account

You can. It's a thing I do regularly - I have JP and US accounts set up for that purpose already, so I can just log-in and download.

If you want to keep your existing PSN username and have your trophies on your main account you can do that too, simply by loading the game while logged into your main account.

The only potential problem, as I went in-depth about in an earlier post, is that doing this can introduce difficulties in buying MTX, though those problems can be usually solved by reinstalling from your local store once it releases there. Your saved progress (which is online) should not be affected.

For everyone who is hyped, just have a look at the xbox forum right now. 3.6 on xbox released in such a bad state, that about half cannot even play it.

I just hope for you guys, PS4 will get a bit more attention from ggg than xbox. Our FAQ what will come is still from 2017 and nothing what was promised actually came yet.

Should it perform better than xbox, i might switch. Time will tell, but be aware, ggg presents itself totally different from what you are used to from pc.

What also should be mentioned about regions is that this promo-page we all referencing to(https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/path-of-exile-ps4/) is in fact optional. It is possible when there is game in the store, but no promo-page for the region.

For example:

It's US promo-page for free-to-play casino game. You all should have no trouble finding it on PSN.
Although there is no promo-page for this game for my region(RU):

...but the game definitely exists. I played it. Not enjoyable experience I must say, but it is there.

It is totally possible, that PoE will come out in all regions simultaneously even without promo-page for every region.
