Preview of the Updated Soundtrack in Path of Exile: Synthesis

You can throw stones at me, but at Adgio Hutchings the soundtrack is much more memorable and fits more precisely into the setting of this project. It’s strange to listen to strict exposure of the Diablo 2 level sound palette at the beginning of the path, and then, in the second half of the rest of the acts, the style of Ancient Rome or Greece .. And in my opinion, Camille will hardly be able to write something at the level of Lioneye's Watch .. His most worthy the work for me is an exceptionally sound to the addition of The Awakening + not a bad topic for a video about the world of atlas.

#returnAdgio
reminds of Witcher 3, and that's a good thing

When are you guys planning to update the name of the game?
TY to those who called me out on my BS on these forums. There is no benefit to being so selfish as to fail to acknowledge others' differing beliefs of what "should be" or believe your own opinions so supreme as to be factual and thus dismiss others' opinions as being somehow a lie or delusional.
That sounds absolutely awesome, you outdid yourself once again, Kamil! My favourites are probably the shakari fight, act 2 town and merveil's cavern. That voice in the latter just nails the siren theme, sounds beautiful.

Oh no! Solaris temple music is awesome! Don't change that.

Most of the others are improvements though, to tracks that while great, pale in comparison to the masterpieces that are many in this game.

But give us the options to switch tracks to their old version maybe?

yep, rip that solaris temple track :( but the rest is fantastic.
If they changed town ST it would confused the hell out of me at first. Like "wait... did I go to the right place, I don't recognize thi... oh yeah, updated".

Regardless, sounds nice.
Good job, Kamil! Amazing new tracks!

I would miss the current ones though. Solaris, Grand Arena, Lioneye's Watch and Forest Encampment tracks don't need to be remastered, in my opinion. They are great already!

Otherwise the rest is a true improvement! That Fellshrine music is really awesome! Merveil lair music is also very pleasing to the ear, although maybe with a touch of menace it would sound nicer. It's a dark and gloomy place, filled with monsters, after all!

Generally I see the tendency of moving away from the strong electronic element of PoE soundtrack towards "medieval" tunes. I'm not sure I like it, because steam-punk and technology as such are strong in this game and it would be sad if the game became a pure "fantasy romance". The darkness and grittiness of Wraeclast appears to suffer because of this tendency! Don't know how the "medieval" version of the Vaal Oversoul fight would sound. Probably not right. (PS: Saying this despite being fan of what we call medieval music.)

Please make sure that the old tracks will still live on as downloadable legacy soundtrack and as selectable hideout soundtrack as well! Many thanks in advance!

I haven't had the music on since 2014...but that might have to change!

I have to echo some of the people commenting here: please do not change Solaris' song. It is the most iconic POE piece of music, the most unique to this game, much like Tristram's theme is the Diablo iconic piece of music. I'm not even criticizing the quality of the new music (which is good in general, just not as good as old Solaris' song), but that change for the sake of change is bad, and Solaris is the last environment needing a music change/upgrade...

Yeah the old tracks are just awesomesauce, Kamil. The existing Grand arena music gives me goosebumps all over just like Ennio Morricone does in "The Ecstasy of Gold". In the name of all that's holy, don't mess with that, let us choose! (Also a8 Sarn, don't touch it, it's heckin' magnificent.)
