Development Manifesto: Betrayal as a Core Game Mechanic
Nice! This is going to be a fun league, and Betrayal will be enjoyable the way that it's being implemented.

Not the biggest fan of Betrayal going core, but I do understand it as a whole with tying together the new master system that we were used to because of Betrayal. I just hope that every league doesn't go core for a while because with the new master system added it means the last 4 leagues are core, abyss, delve, incursion, bestiary and now betrayal will be 5.

Honestly, was not a fan of Betrayal at all. Could run red maps no
Problem but would ended up getting trashed by Betrayak encounters...made me log off most times. The rewards were pretty cool and different when you beat a safehiusr but in the end, I didn’t take the time to finish up to the Mastermind. I couldn’t stand it. One mechanic I wish wasn’t core at all. Otherwise, new league looks good. We’ll see what happens. |

Press F for delving. Seriously, it was already a massive pain to get sulphite WITH the scarabs, and now it's just gonna be pure cancer to delve deep without it. Welp GGG, be prepared for a LOT of salty players if you don't compensate by buffing the amount of sulphite Niko gives per encounter. At the very least, make it so that it guarantees 3 sulphite nodes instead of random 1-3 per encounter.

Let's be honest. 1) Betrayal encountes are only acceptable for low level speed-farming, painful at higher map levels(and gets locked out at research)
2)The content players want, is Delve, GGG nerfs the Sulphite scarabs effectiveness without doing anything about the 1 node spawn nonsense(which happens frequently). That sucks tbh. tl;dr at least change Sulphite scarabs to 2-3 nodes. Last edited by wierdzodi#7807 on Feb 21, 2019, 9:35:16 PM

If we can't lock out Betrayal encounters in next league, Betrayal content will be a lot more intrusive going core than it was when it was an actual league mechanic. Also; I think the game is becoming really cluttered, and betrayal going core is gonna pile up on that.

I tried really hard to like the betrayal system, but it's simply unfun. If it's added to the game, I'll just ignore it like I ignore the prophecy system.

You guys should give us a way to not interact with betrayal contents. My personal problem with it is I have no idea who and how many I'm fighting, I have zero idea of what any of their abilities are, whenever I die to them, I have no idea what killed me, sometime the oneshot happens after I killed all of them, and I have no idea what it is. The entire fight is one big clusterf_ck. Let people op out if they choose to.
