Flame Totem Rework
:( It is a totem.
Can we get some new skills which feel like they are hooked somehow into the class fantasy in a more meaningful way then just another type of skill that has mechanically been part of the game since forever? plus/minus some new stats and a fire/lightning/cold theme? The IceNova cast on frostbolt was neat and a cool interaction (even though it needs work to really perform better then a poor-mans ED.) This rework is essentially just a offensive/defensive buff. But we will still kinda put totems down same way since forever. The consecrated ground is probs something every regen based character will use with a free socket though. ^^' But in general! Yey! Alright, it sounds good on paper, but I am concerned about performance again. Will it kill FPS like any new mechanic you added in the past year ?
I mean, I almost can't play any skill now since Breach league, I would like some skill that are playable on modest configs, and don't transform into a slideshow when an Abyss or Betrayal encounter happen. https://www.youtube.com/user/PeipeMasta

Most new skills (like the brands) are gimicky and hard to use. That's why noone is actually using them. Don't make another one.

Bah... I was actually really excited when I read "Flame Totem Rework", I used to love that skill when it could still do shotgun damage with multiple projectiles. But sounds like you're just giving it a utility role, which wont do much since party play in this game is almost as dead as PvP. Disappointing.

Dunno. A Totem that offsets the drawback on Soul mantle. Just drop Flame Totem beside you, and your immune to curses.

Conversion trap the time has come!
In order to get rid of clearspeed meta cap global movement speed at 100% but make all skills instant so everything feels great.

I'm usually all on board with skill reworks, but this isn't exactly Flame Totem anymore. I think I would rather have a new totem skill than completely changing the existing skill. And why is Templar getting all of these additions like brands, Consecrated Ground interaction, and phys conversion? Some other classes got some bonuses, but it seems like Templar is getting the majority.
