[3.5] Occultist Vortex/Cold Snap ES/CI - Deathless and Safe Uber Elder and T16's

Hey mate,

Love the guide have followed it closely as a relatively new player. Have now cleared all content in the Atlas except for Uber Elder and only died once doing it with this build. Took me awhile to find a build i enjoyed so much.

Also an update from me, took the build to lvl 100 and even after i've finished this character i'm still enjoying it and using it to kill bosses. also crafted a sceptre finally that is worth showing lol

I crafted an insane one but I just kept throwing around 70-80 dense fossils by themselves at i86 Vaal regalias and sold any over 700 es and bought a new base. I would try to quality it up to 30 before you craft though. I only went to 28 and now am sad.

I've never thought, man I never die, I should die more and so I can do more damage on this build, or pretty much any other build. I haven't PoB'ed it, but I'd guess the 40% increased (not more, but increased) probably only translates to 10% or so more damage. The trade is for 250-300 BASE energy shield. 266 base energy shield is worth nearly 1600 energy shield. There's no way that trade is ever worth it if you're going to spend the same money on both.

Just curious how much unreserved mana people have with Discipline/Enfeeble/Aspect. Even with the +4% reduced Mana reserved and lvl3 Enlighten I only have 67 Mana. I managed to bring Vortex down to 67, but it feels kinda slow, so I disable Aspect for mapping.
I haven't picked up Deep Thoughts yet, but according to PoB that only gives me +20 unreserved Mana and about ~40% higher regen. I'm not sure that makes too much of a difference.

I have around 130 mana with enfeeble, discipline and aspect of the spider. I have deep thaughts and enlighten lvl 3.

Together with hitting my mana flask now and then (Maybe each 5 pack) it is very smooth.
Maybe you should try to get a bit of mana on gear if possible and also lvls add a bit I think.
