I spent 2300 fusings in betrayal to get a 6L. I said never again. Got my current chest for 80c. Only 300 ES but I couldn't be happier. The average is 1:1000. |

I leveled using Vortex as soon as I got it, it's been completely smooth. There were some mana issues in my 70s I think that were solved with Arcane Surge but after filling out more mana regen in the tree it's not required as far as regen goes anymore.

" Some people are "good at trading" and can make Ex's a day buying cheap and selling slightly less cheap. I've been insanely lucky. in 48 hrs /played i've had 4 exalts drop, and got a +2 molten strike helmet enchant out of the Lab which sold for another 2, which bankrolled my chest and wand nicely. As an old friend says - it's better to be lucky than good :) |

" I played a fair bit the first weekend before I started working on Monday. But I tried to sell everything I could, even if it was just 1 alchemy you end up with a lot over time. Then I also got lucky finding two Quill Rains in first two days and people went crazy over that one. After awhile I got enough chaos to buy exalted orbs, they always start off cheap and then increase in price so buying early is a good strategy. Just plain farming and a couple of lucky drops and eventually I was sitting on 7 exalts, bought a 6L 727 ES chest from someone else for 6 exalts so that's how it worked out for me. Just playing a lot, selling stuff and sometimes lucky with drops. |

Tried to craft the helm and i got this but without the -% cold resistances. I don't know if I should sell it and try to craft another one because is a good helmet... | |

I'm trying to craft my own sceptre. Bought the base weapon and hit T1 cold dot (in ~250 alt, lucky?).
Trying to figure out the best way to proceed from here (noob in crafting): Regal (trying to hit a suffix - 50%) + Prefix can't be changed / scour. 2ex when it succeeds If I fail to hit a suffix, double annul (33%). (~40c each annul) When both method fails, I either spam alt again (based on poedb, T1 cold dot chance is 0.04% so 2k5 alt on average ~500c) or imprint (3.5ex ~560c). Imprint is better time-wise but 3.5ex to pay even if it succeeds directly. Alt spam, you only pay when it fails. Also T1 or T2 is about 3x less alt on average. Is there other options I'm missing? I'll probably go for alt spamming. Any more tips? Standard league currency rates used here. |

" If you're wanting a perfect weapon, you should fossil craft with bound and pristine so you can get +% minion damage and +% damage at full life. Then you annul all other mods and multi-craft trigger socketed spell and the strongest spell damage/utility. I wouldn't do alt spam when fossil is much better.
