Just play this amazing game and shut up. No one cares if someone wants a respec or not. I hate these retards "i want, i want, i want". You are playing an amazing game for free. Some people need a degree of humility. I would ban them all if i would have created this amazing game and they cry like little babys. To be quite honest there is no "fair" about it. Its GGG's game, they made it and the rules that apply to it. The class did not get reworked in such a way that if you did not like the duelist in the first place and what it had to offer, you would choose it now or even spend points in their area. In actuality some flavors of the class might suffer because of the consolidation of points if the weapon damage nodes turn into melee physical dmg nodes as some people think. GGG does not owe us anything if they decide to change their game, even more so seeing as how unless you contributed you are playing this game 100% free. And if you did contribute, you must have agreed with their ideology or was ignorant of it because they have never hid their intentions with the game or how the game is going to be and that however they decided to do something was just the way it was going to happen. I like this this way of thinking, even though I do not like all aspects of the game. At least I know they are putting out something they want and if I happen to enjoy it I will keep playing, if this changes you always have your choice. I don't disagree with anything you've said (or the others who replied), and given what you said, why does anybody deserve a respec of any kind, going by your and other's logic in here? "Use and choose at your own risk." Going by the logic of "reroll or live with it", nobody should get a respec if nodes/paths change in the tree, which I would be fine with. I love rerolling. But as I said, with respect to fairness, either everybody gets a full respec or nobody gets any points reset. Whether or not fairness should be a major criteria in game decisions is a whole 'nother debate, and I don't deny that there are likely more important factors.
