The fact that betrayal encounters are ridiculously more difficult than all other content isn't a good thing, it needed to be nerfed it's entirely inconsistent.

I hope they dont nerf the syndicate into the ground. tanky builds enjoyed being able to withstand the pain.

also, how about buffing the fuck out of safehouse encounters ? syndicate members are PUSHOVERS there. its the opposite of breachstone run where the bosses are tough. the adds during the safehouse run sometimes are more dangerous than the safehouse leaders.

I had success with tping out and back in to make them change order when overlapping. Not a fix ofc, but at least it can help sometimes until its fixed :)

Agreed. They should nerf some of the members at tops 10% at first, and see how it plays out combined with the other changes.

I'm saddened to see nerfs being deployed across the board - with the possible exception of off-screening, which feels cheap and is one reason I'd never play Betrayal on Hardcore.

If the VFX associated with Syndicate members wasn't so gratuitously overdone, reducing their damage wouldn't be necessary - and honestly feels like a cop-out. I don't want to not die - I just want to understand why I died. At any time there's more than one of those tornadoes on the screen at once it's effectively impossible to see anything, regardless of what enemies are doing at the time. Abruptly dying in those circumstances is frustrating - but lowering their damage misses the point completely. Please ask the art team to tone down the VFX. It's not the first time they've heavily reduced my enjoyment of a challenge league.

How about increased effect of ailments craft spawning on rings but not being able to be crafted unto rings?
