Ya. That's a good point. Or maybe a seperate post that I just save the link on and have it's intent just for me. I appreciate the suggestion. I'll figure something out shortly.

You could edit the second post that reads "I'll update the guide ..." to be part two.

Also, in the previous thread, triniparty had said that the patch notes gave a nerf to slowing from Temporal Chains. So I asked about it on reddit:

"The total amount that you can slow the expiration of an effect on a character through a time-slowing mechanism (such as Temporal Chains) is now capped at 75% from all sources." What does that really mean?

You can use the Shackles of the Wretched gloves to curse yourself with Temporal Chains. This increases the duration of many buffs (Headhunter, Zerphi's Heart, flasks, some Vaal skills) on you. The change is a nerf to the maximum duration you can achieve with self-curse Temp Chains.

So maybe this build isn't affected at all?
The wording and explanations GGG has provided around Temporal Chains has always been hard to understand. I originally read this as ALL "slows", no matter how many "slow" effects are stacked, cap at 75%. But I don't think it's about the "slow" itself. I think it's about the extended duration of effects, and nothing to do with "slow". (TC slows the expiration of effects as well as slows enemies.)

Either way, neither would affect this build. (I'll update my incorrect translation in the guide soon.)

But TC and its functionality haven't changed at all for us. The patch notes didn't do anything for us, which is good :).

Having just read through the guide and the previous 3.4 build also, I see that you have changed the CWDT Flesh Offering links for the new Skeleton set up. I was wondering how much of a difference this will make to the build?

I'm curious because I was under the impression that Flesh Offering was a pretty integral part of a summoner's arsenal when it came to game play. If I am missing something obvious then please let me know!

Once again, thank you for a well written guide. Excited to play this in Betrayal.

dumb question but when with a boss fight and you have no corpses is there a way to get any?

Use the Desecrate skill to generate some.

Why should there be any reason starting any boss fight without any Zombies? Zombies are your "main skill" and will be ALWAYS the first of all things you do at starting to play. In every situtation. In my case (I've played the build in 3.4), if I'm starting a map or Lab or something else, I do teleport to any lower region, kill some Monsters and let my Zombies spawn. From this point on you have your Zombies with you. At least til they're goin to hell again. ;D
I wonder why in 3.5 we should avoid Ele Reflect Maps? In 3.4 I had no big problems with Ele Reflect in Maps. Only with that Phys Reflect. Thats what was getting me down in a flew.

Hi, im a new player ( starting this friday with a new league and expansion ). I really, really like this guide. Thanks for making it. Got a noob question I have to ask. I hope you can answer. During leveling i believe there are some special rewards and decisions to make. Is there anything i should pay attention to? I wanted to be sure if there are any decisions which can lately "destroy" my late-game gameplay? Some guides have special "leveling" section, describing 1-10 acts leveling, chosing quest rewards etc. Is it necessary here? Also, if u have any tips for a completely new player somehow connected with this build feel free to share, I hope Im not the only one who would appreciate them :) Thanks again.
Great question. I suggest doing every quest. It paces your character well in the game in regards to XP gain and you get used to some map layouts and boss battles as well. You also won't miss out on any extra passive points (you can earn some via quests...23 of them!).

In the "Quests and Gem Locations - Quick Reference" section you'll see that there is a quest that involves Bandits. When you get there it'll make more sense, but you'll want to kill them all. That Quests and Gem Locations - Quick Reference section will also tell you which quests in the game will give you gems that will be relevant to our build. (If you pick the wrong gem, no big deal. The gem vendor of each act will sell the gem you want for really cheap.)

The only other quest to notice is also noted in that section: Act 5, the Death to Purity quest: the Violent Dead jewel. If you don't select that, you can't buy it from a vendor. You have to trade a player for it or hope another drops. They are a "common" drop for unique jewels.

For advice for people brand new to the game, I'd say the most important thing to do is take your time. I'm trying to re-word some things to make more character space in my guide, but I have a small section of tips for new folks.
But take your time in the game. Get used to how skills work, how their explained. Do all the quests.
Keep all your currency (the orbs and such that drop) for once you're finished the story. You'll be thankful you did once you're there.
Honestly, I think the best thing new people can do for themselves is simply put in their own time in the game. As you're following a guide online, make sure you know what you're selecting. Notice your health changes when you switch gear or select a health node (for example).

Feel free to ask 100 questions. Don't worry about feeling like a noob. We all really want you to like this game ;).

TYVM for ur response, Im glad i have found a guide like this. I would like to ask about passive tree which is pretty scary for a new player :D In your guide you say that it doesnt really matter which path we choose and we should avoid "west part" of it and leave it for later part. Did u plan to divide ur passive tree into some parts , like for example, lvl 30/60/90 etc.? It would be also easier for some people i to follow it I believe.
@Jacuboss

Check @x_Peleus_x and @Katalaeia replies to me on page 2. I asked the same question and I got great responses with a rundown of how to travel between the nodes.

I made my own level 20, level 40 and level 80 trees. The points between 40 and 80 I will spec as needed depending on if I feel I need zombie damage, curse damage or health the most.
I can't thank you enough, I got to lv74 (T8 maps) in delve playing super casual (only Friday nights with a friend for about 6 weeks).

Everything just fell into place, I got both the violent dead gems quick for like 2 chaos and didn't notice them not being there when I didn't have them.

Everything was a breeze, my friend is new and made bad choices so his "tank" hid behind ME most of the time!

I am telling him to do this build and I am going to try arc trapper for Betrayal.

Because I play a lot, I may level arc trapper for Betrayal with friend on Fridays, and run Zombies on my own in Betrayal to get extra gear for our Friday night incursions!

I also recommend this build to anyone who wants to one hand this game and maybe keep a finger hovering over a life flask.

It was a dream, ALMOST boring...almost. a little slow, but really, really fun!

Also after Kitava, I had 4 deaths, and 3 of those were me being dumb ;)
I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.
That is some cold blooded shit to say...
