3.5 Abyssal Summoner guide

level 79 now with this build still no weapon, hands, or chest does it seems that these items are increasing in prices? lucky enough i got an exalted drop so just waiting for the weapon im sure that will make this build 100% better

i got the shoes while it was cheap its VERY good with that extra dodge for spell and moment speed would suggest getting that first since it seem to be the cheapest

i am thinking of adding support summon phas + skelly mages to a 6-link chest intill i can get the unique (weapon atleast) whats your thought on this?

so i would prob add summon skelly/summon phan on kill/minion damage/faster casting/faster projectile/ and greater multi proj

I'm at around 75. Currently using Mon'tregul's Grasp with Matua Tupuna while I wait for Soulwrest to come down in price a bit. I have my skeletons in a +2 helm and they seem to still just wreck everything, but I'm only doing like t4s still. Tonight I will hopefully finish up completing all white maps and then move through yellows.

Honestly the 2-3ex for Soulwrest is kinda nuts. I remember at the start of Delve it was like a few chaos. I have 1ex right now but am hoping it comes down some more - it was 2.5 two days ago so maybe will be 1.5 today and 1 tomorrow?

Some thoughts:

- Love the tree. I absolutely appreciate the OP's approach of using the tree to pick up mainly stats and resists and defenses, because minions just don't really need many nodes.
- The unique flask that interacts with Vaal skills (which is in the PoB but not in the OP - might be worth editing to add some info about flasks?) is incredible. Honestly Betrayal encounters are really trivial with VSS and the flask.
- I am going to take EE once I get Soulwrest (anti-synergy with Grasp's zombie explosions right now) and can proc it easily enough with my Bubonic Trail.
- I took Puppet Master over Commander of Darkness because my resistances were already capped even without Purity of Elements. I'm now wondering what I should pick for my final ascendancy (only need 2 more trials). Presumably still just CoD?

This is a great idea. I'd still work towards the 20 phantasms, as they are noticably better than 10 phantasms and 10 skelly mages, which just take more button pushes. Also the melee skellies are nice for deleting bosses faster.

It may be worth the damage loss on phantasms to put spell echo in there. for skelly mages, this means one button push for max damage, and the repeat of the spell is amazing for quality of life on such naturally slow casters.

You can take fleshbinder for physical damage reduction. The new helm that gives you constant offerings will be sexy with mistress of sacrifice - bubonic trail will not affect MoS ascendency.
But Commander of darkness is still best option, so that your resists are overcapped by 30% ( elemental weakness and EE maps are very common)
It will also bring up your minions resists, which is useful for them to survive long enough to put out their damage.

These prices are getting kinda nuts. 2ex for 5L shroud now too. and 1ex for Grip!

Using a chromatics calculator shows that the average chromatics is about 250. So, yes, very bad luck. The same calculator shows that the best method is to use voricis 1 green formula.

Alternately, accept 5 B, 1 green and take minion speed instead of GMP or LMP. It'll be fine this way.

Links don't matter on soulwrest.

Just a heads up. I'm playing ssf and was able to use the bestairy recipe for a unique staff. Got a soulwrest first try.

It might be worth hunting beasts instead of currency.
