In which case you use the same quickslot as you did for the old skill. There is just one case where you would need more: ALL UNLINKED skills without any support gems. Which you do maybe once if you are totaly new to PoE and then never again :). So stop trolling. |

I bet we're going to get another stupid item @Aberath's Hooves that will re-attach your brand without you doing to do anything, and the brand(s) is(are) going to play the map instead of you while you casually just walk while watching TV and sending an e-mail at the same time. Like Winter orb, pretty much. And if you use other skills on top of it ( probably completely unnecessary but for couple of encounters ), it's just pure power creep. Nop, not hyped, more sad than hyped tbh. " Trolling ? It's not because you might enjoy 2-buttons only builds that everybody else does the same. Some setups would already welcome additional skill key bindings, and if you look at the storm brand preview, they are using arc at the same time as the brand is doing its job while you can do something else, meaning that you can dps with 2 skills at the same time if you want. Brands could also fit a support role ( @curse on hit, ele overload triggers ), and will likely require 2 key bindings on their owns : one to cast/recast, one to move it to the next target it needed. So if anybody is trolling, it's not the person you quoted I'm afraid. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading. " Actually, he has a very good point. Most characters and ascendancies that will make use of this already have maxed out keybinds and skill slots. This will greatly reduce the incentive to use this new skill, especially if it's like what they traditionally do to new skills on release - make them virtually useless for a year or two before finally buffing them up into something useful. |

" Actually not. We now have 8 posible hotkeys where 1 is used for walking (at last I do). Leaves 7 free hotkeys. With 4 armor parts and 1 or 2 weapons. Which makes a max of 5/6 skills + support gems. One of them is used many times for CwDt setups which does not need a hotkey. Leaves 4/5 skills + support gems. If you now use a curse which is most times not linked to support gems you still have just 5/6 skills + support gems ... and 7 free hotkeys. So tell me. Where do we need more? And no, you don't need to have your 10 auras permanent bound :). 1. walk 2. main skill + 5 support gems 3. totem + 3 support gems 4. curse 5. movement skill + 2/3 support gems 6. frostbomb / orb of storms + support gems 7. free (?) 8. free (?) Which super duper hyper build realy "NEED" more? And not just because "I have 24 sockets so I want 24 hotkeys" *g*. |

I know that firestorm is more close to it visually, but this gives me all kinds of nostalgia of my time as a wizard in D1. GGG is better at being blizzard north than blizzard is. lmao |
