any chance we can get clarification as to what tier of map they are going to be spawning on? Is this going to be an endrun around shaped atlas strategies? Will these missions occur on red maps like shaper strongholds? Can they spawn on locked maps that haven't been completed?
Please let me know this is actually a big issue. |

" They have already said, they will appear near where you finished your last map. Assuming the random spawning after completing a map happens after you finish a T6 map then it may appear in a T5-7 map (no specifics have been given other than its near there). Also, my thoughts are that the two unknown icons are: - Stronghold icon (the second level of the betrayal board) - Betrayal boss (the top level of the betrayal board) |

Okay? Neat I guess for those who are already good at this sort of thing.
I still find maps boring and have no understanding of what to be doing or how to make any real sense of progress at endgame. Maps already make no sense and the game does nothing to make the goals of mapping clear to the player. Making a new character playing the story and for the septeen-hundredth time to get to endgame is unrewarding when endgame makes no sense. I also feel like having an endless/mapping mode available from level 1 for those who have finished the story at least once would be great but maybe im the only one who feels this way. New leagues are cool, but they have kind of just felt like additional endgame map content that just stacks on top of an endgame that already isn't very clear to begin with. Right now it's super unclear how I'm supposed to even work towards stuff like that. I've read that stuff like that is meant to be achievable by a very small percentage of the playerbase due to difficulty but I feel like the difficulty barrier is in understanding HOW to access them rather than the difficulty of the enemies/bosses themselves. Was map progression and finding guardians/shaper etc better explained in a league past or something? Mapping has thus far been stale, boring, and unfulfilling to me for these reasons. I love getting re-worked and new skills/supports and Im confused as to why they have to get held back for new leagues to be released. Currently the only enjoyment Ive been getting out of each new league is new skills and supports to build with. I'm looking super forward to the steel moves, the banner, and the ice orb for this coming up league :) When is a real pvp mode coming out? The april fools battle royale was easily the most fun I've had in this game. I've read stories about other pvp style leagues/races/side events that happened in years passed (not sure if true or not) that id missed out on that sounded like they would have been super fun.
