How Atlas Objectives Work

The scarab thing has been figured out in another thread. scARAB = Soft Core Arab. The soft core Arab fights by your side until he dies, only in sc.

All we (read: I) know, is that it's something affecting maps. What do YOU think it is?

- you can put little scarabs into the map device to add up to 3 bugs to your map
- it could be a "soft core Arab" (scArab) who fights with you (but only in soft core)
- some kind of weird leaguestone mechanic

So again, the rich get richer, and you design systems for people who don't have jobs and families.

How is any of that a "the rich get richer" scenario?

Hmm. Another thing SSF players are locked out because we can't trade for the right maps - now we're even locked out of the daily buyable maps from Zana if we don't have her daily map. No happy Hype here.

If you're running out of Maps, or don't have certain Maps in SSF. Then there's an issue with how you go about Mapping. I've played SSF since before it was even official and I've always been able to get almost every map done within a week or two.

There are plenty of ways to get maps in SSF. But if you're not a fan of the restriction then SSF probably isn't for you.

I never said i run out of maps, even though I see some bad RNG for me - i only recently started writing down statistics and I still seem to sustain maps better on alced yellows then on chiseled, alced and corrupted reds, but I'm not yet in a truly statistically relevant sample size.

That said, I can see when building up elder zones that I lack the fitting maps from time to time, and without guaranteed Zana shopping and the need to keep at least one of each type (which means to collect 4 to upgrade, not 3) it will get a lot more difficult.

it looks like it they will try and move to the maps you are running.

if they don't though I find it fun. I really hate that POE in leagues turns into running 600 of the same t8 map, for HH cards and that being the best way to play.

Granted I know people well some people feel that is the best aspect, and i know fast builds earn more money in general.

I think it will be fine though with them stating it's going to move to the map you ran / run. That should let you deal with it.

But the bigger aspect everyone is missing is master crafting isn't really just tied to master / favor level now, it's tied to different completions, which will probably be tied to different map completions.

since your HO isn't tied to masters, just master crafting and if you want to just cash farm 2 maps for drops to buy stuff, then you will be fine. YOu will have that HH card money to buy my crafted items.

Meaning if you are just running the same map, it no longer impacts you to do or not do the masters, you aren't gaining anything really minus master crafting which you weren't really doing, either cause you didn't need to, beyond farming the same map.

Give us all the good shit! nice
Let Uber bricks rain down on me
Without convenient buy/sell maps instrument (aka AH) all it is shitty design again. Game becomes Path of Alt+Tab. Spam Whispers League.
I could be wrong but my gut feeling is that Ill just end up falling even more behind than before as a solo player who plays a little almost every day.

It sounds like the map bottle neck will be even more miserable for players who arent awesome.
