They seem basically the same and with built in support gems.
New mechanics sounds interesting, but could be too similar to bleed. |

Looks cool an all, but all these "melee" skills just make me long for an actual generic melee totem support gem. ;)

" Why wouldn't it matter? It's just like Spectral Throw if it's not "melee". Spectral throw is projectile skill that "uses" melee weapon and therefore anything with melee damage or melee physical damage won't work with it. Multistrike won't work with it either. It's also not an "Aoe" skill. It's a projectile attack skill from the looks of it. |

Well need a skill that makes 2H melee weapons viable! The Delve league saw prices for Starforge hit 5c! Nobody is playing 2H sword build and the Atziri Disfavor axe cyclone is one of the oldest builds around.
GIVE US A 2H MELEE SKILL FOR SWORDS THAT DOES NOT SUCK PLEASE! 🐢

Uninspired work, at first glance, other than the impale business. Looks pretty much like pure physical versions of frost blades and a melee version of barrage.

" You don't want that, trust me. Totems have already displaced self-cast spellcasters completely. If they were added in for 'true' melee skills as well, that'd be the final death blow to the concept. No one would ever play them without totems. |
