Announcing Private Leagues
" Can you read? These leagues are optional, that means for example you are a PoE streamer and want to create 10 day league for your subscribers or so. It opens alot of possibilities for such content as is streaming. Streamer can create league, set some prizes and let people grind to win. Or for example in the second way - some rich player can purchase league for all the big streamers and let them fight for the 1st place etc. Same, big guilds or just groups of friends can do inside events by doing such leagues just for members. Cool stuff. It will not affect us "normal" players that playing normal leagues or standard ones. Cheers. I like to summon things ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ IGN: @Dosarphic Last edited by Dosarphic#1426 on Nov 5, 2018, 9:10:26 AM

" So for the people that don't want to pay for a league, we are just left with standard play? That's my issue. I don't want to have to be forced to pay to participate in the league. or... will there be a separate league of its own outside of paying for additional mods? Then I would be ok with this. |
|
" This will be a feature outside of the regular league cycle. There will still be the usual challange leagues and sometimes races and all the other stuff. This will just be a feature for some people who are looking for extra challanges. tldr: Private Leagues are not Leagues but features |

hope that cheeres you up :)

I have no idea whom, ggg is trying to appeal to with this addition, the only ppl I could see use this are streamers and party ssf.
if it was a non migration/void league where you and your bro/bros could have a month or so of fun with some old mods like perandus, breach etc. etc. that would appeal to a much larger crowd, and something i would put my money into but this, this is just another shcool example of what direction poe is headed, always looking at the 1% or the 0.01% of the player base, i don't know if they know that the biggest player base are 99%, i know that alot of those never spent and will never spent as much as a dollar on this game but that doesn't mean that they should only focus on the 0.01%. Just as a note, ppl might not be willing to pay money for pure cosmetic but that doesn't mean that they won't pay to play in a legacy'ish league, some ppl just don't like cosmetics or to use money on cosmetics but some ppl WILL pay for content. | |
dont like it at all.

" In my eyes this feature for "the 1% or the 0.01%" shows that ggg is not just trying to get some easy money. They want to keep their core game alive and therefor dont monetize features everyone wants to play (btw thats the reason why you most likely wont be able to play past leagues). btw without creating some like 10000 player private leagues those private leagues wont be making that much money. ~18$/10ppl isnt that much. " OMG reading have to be so hard,.... which country you are from if I may ask? Does it provide places in school for children or did you need to learn it by yourself? HE ANSWERS your question and you asking again,.... GG |
|
So.. before start saying things like P2P, gg ggg (which i actually think), if I decide to not pay for anything, how is it my league going to be if I choice the league icon? Is it going to be like playing standard but with the opportunity to add league mods and buy chars? Is that it? or are some features added besides paying for league mods?
It'll be nice that if (i.e.) I don't want to pay for those league mods, at least let me create a char in a private league with 3 randoms mods, let the paying be for those who want more specific group of mods. |
|
" And I dislike people, with a lack of reading skills, D3 fanboys, to repeat myself 10 times or other stupid things, but you are a part of it. It just makes me sad that it have to be like it is. |
