{3.10} Speaker for the Dead | The Mass Minion Summoner | League Starter, Leveling Guide 💀
I've been using this build for the past week or so and it rocks. I'm still trying to improve my gear bit by bit.
I recently got a Hunger Loop, and from some research, it looks like I can feed it support gems and then once it has eaten 4, I can put in something like Raise Zombie in it, so the result would be essentially Zombies with 4-linked support gems. My question is what support gems would be best for the Hunger Loop, and which minion would best benefit from this?
You'll also want an Shaper/Elder-influenced weapon that gives a lot of support affixes to your Zombies.
I am looking patiently for a good claw and hubris. I have some in a "Possible Craft Tab" but Unless I pick up something decent I don't want to waste my little currency on the low level Items.. when I start finding shaper and elder stuff then I will try craft.. I haven't encountered the elder still trying to get this one map to progress with shaper story..
To start out it helps to be aware of a few basic currency acquisition techniques, I find the 2x Chaos Recipe is great for making currency once you hit maps (Tier 1-4), but there's a few nice ones for alchs/etc to make initial mapping and maintaining map pool a little easier. Just make sure you've setup an appropriate Item Filter.
And once you've got a few chaos to your name, I've found this build to be really cheap and self sufficient. As you progress through maps and start to see higher tier items (> item level) you can craft these directly or purchase appropriate bases to craft. A base claw
for example, can be purchased for 1 chaos and using fossils you find yourself are very cost effective(bound + jagged for a decent claw). I have decided though that a hubris i86 elder base is too expensive for my tastes (~90C-1ex) and 8ex for a Bone Helmet (i86 elder) is way beyond my meager earnings :) So went with a solaris circlet, and am quite happy with the result:
If you enjoy the crafting aspect of PoE I'd really suggest checking out PoEDB: Exile Chronicles as it's very helpful when determining what to craft yourself vs what to buy via trade.
This build really is very good and pretty bullet proof, if you follow the guide (and it sounds like you are) as closely as possible you shouldn't have too many issues making your way through the entire story line/end game content.

I am not really in a place to give advice. But somewhere I saw this question and I saw a few people on reddit also using a carrion Golem in the ring with some supports.. Not sure which. I believe it was to replace holy relic. So possible but check it out. Will be following
This is the one change I made to my build and it is a HUGE QOL change. This is the way to go if you are using cyclone. I can cyclone through a whole map in a minute then i just run back and pick up the goodies. It's that last line that makes it all worth it, plus you can anoint these.
So what should I use in place of empower while I level it up in second weapon slot. (I have some gems leveling in second weapon slot like melee splash and IFS)
Until you have a +1 claw and a good empower, the best is most likely minion damage + feeding frenzy for your zombies in the claw.
As for the claw itself, there's a few not very expensive which could be a good boost: essentially until you target the rare and expensive +1 gem + maim + other support + support gem level craft, you can go with any claw giving you two useful supports for your zombies (like faster attacks, elemental damage, etc.). Just be careful with mods that could give you unwanted elemental damage (like %phys as extra cold)
For wraithlord replacement (it's still good and useful obviously): any helm with at least +2 minions and other good stats (ideally +3 minion and minion damage support, but that's expensive).
For the boots, you'll be better most likely with boots giving fortify support and more movement speed / life / resists than what bones give. The +1 spectre level is nice but probably not worth it enough to use bones in that build (but the expensive end target will probably be a pair of boots with 35% ms, fortify, +1 spectre level, high life / % life).
For the same reasons, endgame for rich people, a good +1 max spectre chest will be really great, but until then just look for a good ES base with high ES and ideally also a high life bonus, as life gives you both direct EHP increase (obviously) and indirect EHP increase through spirit offering, as with more life you'll gain more ES from spirit offering.
I really love this community. Thank you so much dude.
This is the exact like feedback answer I have been searching for.
I didn't really check Spirit Offering but I am glad I understand how it works now so I can try maximize its potential now.
Those End Game boots are glorious. I am so poor lol. Last league was looking for the same boots for my cyclone build x_X
Going to try grind some levels and get that extra spec from passive tree and try get the replacement boots.

@Cypr3ss
Thank you for your input, I really appreciate it. Finally someone who understand that those items are expensive for a peasant who can only play after from like 6-12 and cause I am learning like 2 of those hours are reading or just chilling or looting haha. I like killing everything.
I do use that 2x Chaos Recipe but I am lazy and I keep identifying stuff or picking up good stuff and don't have space for chaos recipe.. as I am still looking for gear..
I think I am going to set goals for the input from you and Gorke and Hercanic and then get those few item and changes to my build and then farm some good chaos and then start buying some good bases to craft etc or just farm and then craft IDK..
