" The default setup is two Frost Sentinels and one Solar Guard, IIRC. |

" " Original guide is 2 Frost Sentinels, then if you had +1 Spectre boots you could incorporate a Solar Guard to take advantage of Ignite Proliferation. Now we'll be able to have 4 Spectres just from the gem, +2 Unnatural Strength, and Death Attunement. This opens up a lot of options with Spectes no longer being tied to corpse level. Knitted Horrors, for example, couldn't be Desecrated before, but now we can get a max level one straight from Dried Lake if we wanted. In the 3.8 Roundup guide, I go over gem links, and for Spectres I talk about the possibility of going pure Spectres with Goatman Fire-raisers. In short, you can go 4 Frost Sentinels to further improve clear speed, or 2 with two support Spectres (Evangelist shield, Power charge apes, Knitted Horror bleed, Vexing Archer Projectile Weakness), or 4 Fire-raisers, it's up to you. I'll have to do more testing before I can give a conclusive recommendation. |

I like summoners. I get bored playing anything else. I accept your existence. And this guide is the paragon of guides.

" " Now that we're getting 4 Spectres basically for free, we have the option of using two Frenzy Charge apes. So using something other than Victario's Charity is a real possibility. The main issue with a staff, assuming you're 6L a minion with it, will be linked socket space: We need 2L Hatred, 3L CWDT, and 3L Cyclone, but only have two 4L. We'd have to drop CwC on Cyclone to make it work. @ D4RK_S0RC3R3R: " What we do with our two free bonus Spectres is on the table. Meat Shield wouldn't be good for our main map clear skill, and using a second Spectre gem will eat up 2 sockets for shields that are only sometimes up. @ Koshling:

" " Take another look, I've added an explanation for the righthand INT path. @ Vlammenzee2190: " Yes, but Mages deal quite a bit less damage than Warriors, and only two out of three benefit from EE. If you want to use them, I'd recommend to continue using Mark of Submission with Projectile Weakness. |

I notice the Frenzy Apes with Blood Magic is still popular with builds. Weren't they given a 6 sec CD on the charge generation spell earlier this year? Could save a socket. Give then Fortify or Meatshield. |

Can you please post update for 3.8

Anyone tried the new golem yet? Was curious if you could go carrion golems instead of skellies to try the new skill out.

@ cgheezey & XxARMOxX:
" " Follow the link at the top of the main post. It's all there. @ everyone: Leveling is going swell. Skitterbots do in fact run up to enemies, exactly what I hoped, but had feared they'd only interact with mines. If you're not doing Discipline/Watcher's Eye, then definitely use Skitterbots. It's 20% more damage for all our minions and all our Blight towers, with only 35% reservation compared to, say, Zealotry's 50%. Its only downside is its small area, so it gives an incentive to invest in Minion AOE. Here's my Act 2 gear: During a Blight, I like to build mostly Minion Towers. Holy Relic heals the minions, Smite gives them added Lightning. Skitterbots increase the damage monsters take. So it works out well. Don't forget to use your crafting bench to add resistances to your gear! Last edited by Hercanic#3982 on Sep 6, 2019, 10:59:43 PM

Question--is there a link in the guide anywhere to the gem links for leveling purposes? I found the PoB leveling trees but I'm not seeing how the gem links should be put together. I just got summon specter and my gems are a complete mess because I'm not sure what should be linked and what my support gems should look like right now.
Help :( |
