Ice Spear Rework

Please carefully consider the base damage of the spell, as well as crit statistics. Anything strictly worse than Arc will get discarded by most of the community.

I really want Freezing Pulse and Cold Snap to not suck.

about damn time...everything cold in this game is pretty shit compare to other elements.

Ice Spear doesn't need that much more damage. Stat sticks need to be nerfed. A lot.

So how is this going to work with Sire of Shards? Since the added projectiles shoot in sequence, is it going to make the projectiles shoot in a nova, in sequence, to the likes of Vaal Fireball?

It pierces, so no Chain (well, you can chain in the first form, but you'll have to stick very close to mobs to do that). Use Freezing Pulse, Arctic Breath (which synergizes with this in also wanting more projectiles) or just rely on Herald of Ice for clearing. This is a single-target boss killer, like Barrage.

Probably. Rework doesn't make much sense otherwise. You'd need to get close to have them all hit in the same spot, tho. Also just like Barrage.
