Daily Routine to Find Delve Bosses

1.)Spam T14-T15 maps to get 18k sulphite.
2.)Spend said Sulphite between depths 270-300.
3.)Zig and zag within the delve to uncover as much as possible.
4.)Find nothing besides armour, ring, & azurite nodes.
5.)Get frustrated.
6.)Log off.

Can GGG release stats detailing how many people have killed Aul? How about how much sulphite is spent on average to even find him? Or how many players have completed each challenge?

Delving into endless common nodes brings zero sense of progression.

I have similar feeling man, ppl say that t15-16 maps rain in citys.. is so easy to run t16 this league... lol ... I have found 3 citys so far and guess what? Didn’t got a single t15 or t16.. I’m running t13-14 to get my 18k sulphite to run delve and find no city.. I do chisel,alch, Vaal, Zana mods, fragments on maps and still can’t run t15-16 without buying them.. My RNG sux big time this league... Still didn’t drop single raw ex and I have lvl94/80% and lvl 92/60% characters lol

T16s do rain if you get a city block big enough and it actually has map chests, but if you get one full of the usual armour racks is pretty much extremely dangerous content for no reward :p

This is without a doubt the worst boss spawn rate yet, a lesson that they just refuse to fucking learn. I'm tapped out for the league I could get 32 challenges fairly trivially but the thought of looking for aul 4x just killed it for me, I really don't want to buy challenges nor IMO Should I even be able to.
I'm just estimating, but I think 3-4 nodes out of every 100 are city nodes (at least in my experience).

I'm curious about boss spawn rates. Is it realistic to play for a month and not see "pinnacle Delve content"?

I'm just guessing but here's my math:
I'm going to assume that a delve boss has a 5% spawn chance within a city node at depth 270+.
I'm also going to assume that a city node appear 4% of the time.
This leads to outrageous sulphite costs...

Chance of finding a delve boss:

4% x 5% = 0.2%

(or approximately 1 every 500 nodes)

Sulphite Cost to Find a boss:

Sulphite cost at depth 270 is approximately 700.

500 nodes * 700 sulphite/node = 350,000 sulphite.

Maps Required to Find 1 boss:

A T14 or T15 map that's chiseled, alc'd, Vaal'd, etc. produces 900 sulphite.

350,000 sulphite / 900 sulphite per map = 388 maps.

I hope I'm wrong...

After checking the poedb, my assumed spawn rates are HIGHER than reality. 388 red maps per boss spawn is actually a low estimate. Wow.

I agree with you. spawn rate in Delve suck ass.

I went from 330 to 416 without seeing anything besides 2 (bad) map nodes.
and when I actually find cities, I rarely see carto in them.

I did not enjoy delving at all for the past two weeks.

Bosses seem to spawn every 10 squares at depth 600.

Honestly, been raining bosses once you get down here.

Sulphite Cost at depth 600 = 800 ish per node.

So, pretty much everyone farming at 270 are screwed while everyone with better builds going deeper, get plenty of bosses.

Yeah I'm sure those bosses are a joy to fight at depth level 600.


Well if you are a GC miner, or VD Poet Pen. You instantly kill them. So, yeah, pretty much meta wins again.

I seriously don't understand who they are even creating this unreachable content for anymore tbh... content used to be fun and doable for all, like Breach... now it just gets harder to reach and more rng layered with every league.
