Good improvements all around although I think you should make the flares not be flares and be more like chem lights. You know, those tubes you break the inside, mix it up and they shed light?
Why you ask? Rather than throwing them you'd just light it up and have them with you wherever you travel. Basically it makes a light radius around you for the duration. That would make things far better and avoid problems. If you really must go with the fire and forget mechanic which is not great then make the flares go through walls. Nothing bothered me more when they were throwable than wanting to light a specific location but because I couldn't see a small bend in the wall the flare woul go against the wall and not where I wanted it to go. What about totems bugging out and not attacking in the dark at all. Fix this otherwise totems are unplayable in the mine

make flares travel with the player for their duration, they are pretty useless as they are now and even with the proposed rework.

Really sounds as it then may 'work' acceptable. For the moment its very disappointing from my playstyle's view. We'll see when its done...

With how cheap flares and dynamite are vs the amount of azurite we get from single node. The fact that we have to keep track of how many are left and to buy them pretty much each time we start delve is imho just an uneccesary incinvenience.
Maybe you could add option to auto refil them on entering the mine as long as we have enough azurite. Or even better remove the cost entirely. |

I use vaal pact and with no regen at all, I don't have luxury of running in the darkness on full life until 20-30 stacks and I start dying immediately. So I rather support idea of flares granting tempo immune and which follows player.

How about you fix party play first? I love this game, but this neglect is getting insulting.. ffs
