No neck means we can use an animated guardian to buff our dudes till we get a good neck. Atleast thats what Im doing. DMG is more than enough and survival is, as expected for 24h played, kinda mediocre but enough. ~3.5k hp with ~30% reduction, resi overcaped and 463 life reg.

Chain is roughly net neutral DPS change for us, a 45% less modifier is a huge loss of damage, and no stats early league is a huge loss of survivability.

Normally i recommend rushing chain because it's a cost effective way to get more life regen and phys reduction as well as more bang for your buck from your harmonies. (+3 golems)

Right now though, The stats you gain are not worth the price compared to other gear you could be getting.

Focus on getting your tabula/skin primordial gems and defensive items sorted out. Chains will drop in price as the weekend progresses, and you'll be able to be more picky between good chains and bad chains.

Paragon of Calamity is an 8% less elemental damage taken modifier if hit recently and a small bit of leech/prevents all incidental ele reflect. It comes out to a good chunk of survivability.

Pendulum is just because... you have 2 pts to spend and both remaining options are pretty awful :)

I just get my primordial chain yesterday for 33 chaos.
Now i have to go on tabula rasa ..
I play Bane/Soulrend for the moment and that's enough for T1-5 maps easy.
My golem are just here to help for kill.

dunno about the build beeing super expansive. i got most stuff together by yesterday. just low delve for currency and get your gear going.

@ tabula rasa: why dont you guys just use a normal 6 link + fossil / essence craft? 6 links cost the same / less than a tabula and you got some nice stats vs no stats, or do you want to vaal the tabula for the +1?

The +1 levels to your golems is super important as you enter high tier red maps but like you noted there is no reason to use an uncorrupted tabula over any other 6L other than price.

I'm a bit behind this league because I died twice in the 50s but I finally got golems up at running at 70. I got lucky with an ex and divine drop so I opted to make my Anima stone and grab the three other jewels instead of a chain. I'm running 2x clayshapers while I farm with a 4-1-1-1 setup.
I feel it's probably not worth switching to golems until you have at least 3 harmony jewels. The increased number of cyclones is so much smoother for clearing than relying on golem melee attacks.

Also, it's fairly easy to farm your own tabula this league to get started. The Cavas memories have the same loot table as the zone he's in and since he's so easy to find in blood aqueducts, you'll get all the humility cards you need in no time.

Hang on to all of the 2H fractured mauls with at least 2 fractures that you pick up, I think there may be some very powerful options for maul crafting versions of the build this league.

I'll update the guide once I understand synthesis crafting options a bit better.

In the meantime if anyone else figures out what our super endgame options can be with +gem level implicits let us know!

Here are the threads that seem to have it best worked out so far. Now I just need to figure out if a Double Implicit Setup can be crafted to be equivalent/better than an elder/shaper setup.

If i'm reading this correctly, if we had 3 +2 Cold gems, +2 Dex gems, double fractured mauls, we could potentially hit a +1/+1 implicit maul to then essence/fossil craft on. That seems like way more work than just using a shaper/elder base though I need to play around with it more.
