just wanted to know if there is a big DPS difference between 6-1-1-1 setup and 5-1-1-1-1 for full immunity

Not at all, dps loss is minimal but you lose a bit of screen coverage while mapping. The main thing is trying to find the space for your flame golem (Just throw it into an unset ring)

On that same note, i've seen some people running flame golem 6L elder hats in a 4/2/1/1/1 setup for a good mix of mapping/bossing coverage. Put your other 3 golems linked to minion life in boots. I haven't tried it myself but it looked interesting.

btw tabula corrupted for 50% reduced Extra Damage from Critical Strikes usually doesn't cost very much

I've been sitting here staring at the new quiver all morning trying to figure out if we can use this.
wtfquiver

We can craft some pretty disgusting +gems minion bows which then frees up a chest piece.

+3 sockets gives us so many options in an already socket starved build.

You could run something like puncture allowing us to auto-trigger bloodlust.

I just can't figure out how to generate frenzy charges for our minions if we run this, and nothing i'm simming is worth giving up 1 golem, and frenzy charges.

Anyone have ideas because otherwise as cool as this quiver is I don't think it's for us. But there is definitely a minion build hidden there.

Just a quick note:

I ran ice golems (quite similar, but self made build) for 2 leagues now. If maps are scarce and you need to run a phys reflect map you can swap Ice Golem gems.

Your build
6L - Ice Golem + Melee Phys Damage, Multistrike, Empower, Minion Damage, and Maim

Swap
6L - Ice Golem + Multistrike, Empower, Phys to Lightning, and either Fortify/leech/WED

Damage is much lower, but totally still viable even in juicy t16s. I always kept the 3 phys reflect gems and one spell echo (for initial casting after login) in my inventory.

This is really good advice, I've gone ahead and credited you in the advice for 3.6 section. Also let me expand on it a bit.

Don't sell your phys reflect maps hold them sorted into their own stash until you have enough to run quite a few in sequence all rolled and ready to go. Then spend an entire session just knocking them all out.

Another thing i've seen people do, If you run flame golem instead of lightning golem in your hat, you can swap your 6L to flame golems and just run the maps with Flame Golem > Minion Damage > Fire Penetration > GMP > Empower.

Or you can be like me, not notice that the map has phys reflect, walk in and die.

Yeah, I was using the elder zana mod so I just always kept the swap gems in my inv (in delve league which this build is amazing for farming delve too BTW). In betrayal, I ran an MF version of this build that could do t16s okay. I also did a meme version of this build putting ice golems in a wind ripper :D Never got a 100% answer on if the shatter quant applies to minions /shrug but it ran with ice bite/added cold/hypotherm/ele prolif and had enough freeze chance to make it worth it. Started as a complete meme, but it totally worked for low tier farming (burial chambers). I stacked move speed on it too and oh boy I was zooming with 100% phase run in a 4 link phase/duration/efficacy/enhance. I've made a lot of ice golem builds haha

4 link phase run makes this build feel really good in delve/syndicate/low tier farming
Yeah i tried the shatter MF find too and i 'felt' like it wasn't applying to them... but stacking minion attack speed/you benefit from minion attack speed was so good i didn't care.

I feel you on making lots of builds, the base damage is so good that there are so many options on how you can take it and i'm always spending all league trying to do something fun. Start with 10 primordial gems, 6L golems, and go from there! You can even branch out ascendancies and be absolutely fine all the way until uber elder tier bossing.

I'm really excited to get access to the new hatred gem in PoB, the multiplicative cold modifier might make 'elemental damage' ice golems way better than they are right now will have to wait and see.

Dang it, why you give me even more ideas on ele ice golems uuuggghhh. :D
Because Hypothermia's so much fun and we can craft a bow with

+1 Gems, +2 cold gems, minion attack speed/minion damage to go with our new 3 socket autocast quiver!

For serious though if you come up with an elemental bow based build please let me know, i've been toying with it all morning but haven't found anything i'm super happy with yet.

just not as optimized for all-content as what i've got going on with vic's charity/clayshaper.

To everyone who leveled as golems last league, did you go arc or srs?

I've traditionally gone arc/storm brand but with the new spell changes and SRS accuracy buff i'm strongly considering leveling SRS instead.

Once we can import the new gems i'll update the leveling trees.
