Delve Frequently Asked Questions
Dealing with the delve map is going to be maddening.
Scrolling endlessly with the mouse to the left or right because you're not allowed to do the same delve twice ( with the cart ). I bet you can't even use the mouse pointer to drag the map around...you'll need to use the keyboard directional keys like with the mini map. Blerg.... And losing everything the cart picks up on death. Who thought up that idea? In every other part of the game, when you die you still get a chance to get your loot ( even in lab, since you pick up loot as you go ). I don't even want the cart to pick up loot if that's the case, I want it to leave all the items on the ground for me to pick up. And it means increasing light radius is working against you, not for you. Character specific instead of account specific? Great, like doing Atlas over every time you reroll. ( Being able to start at a level 65 delve is not a "catch up" mechanic, you can do that with every league ) How is the cart escorting you, when you have to stick to it to stay out of the darkness? That means you are constantly triggering the cart to move forward, by merely trying to not get instantly killed by the degen. If the cart could back up ..then you'd have a point. How long are delves actually? You say inane generic terms like "short" and "Long" but that could be anything, especially in the climate of this game. Are we being expected to farm sulfate for 10+ maps like in incursion for 1 "long" delve? Is it going to last 20 minutes like temple? Since we aren't afforded the same 6 portal "safety net" like normal content ...are we seriously going to be frustrated by constantly running maps for single attempts? Did the designers of this content really feel ( oh I'm sure Chris did ), that players putting all their eggs into a single basket with not getting rewarded until a completed delve, was a rewarding experience? Are we playing Dead Cells now, where you have to always complete something to 100% in order to get anything? How did we go from Bestiary "all or nothing" attempts ( that people hated ) to Incursions "rewarded for how good you did" ( that people liked ) back to Bestiary attempts again? I thought leagues were meant to test features that could presumably go into the core of the game. It seems more like we're just teeter tottering back and forth between what players don't like to experience and what they do like to experience, with no indication of actually making the game improve over the months. |

So.. if specters are already broken and one of the best builds... why would these devs buff them?
does that make sense to anybody? |

" If I've read correctly, no. And the same goes for kaom, shav, etc. Please tell me i'm wrong :) |

" Pretty sure summoners are a noob trap these league, but I figured people will find that out themselves. (⌐■_■)

Can I get voltaxic sulphite by vending Voltaxic Rift bows?
That would be a perfect sink for these piece of poop bows! |

Thanks for answering a bunch of questions, I already liked what's been shown and the FAQ hyped me up even more.
Very tempting to take out 5 vacation days to dig deep into the Delve mechanic at league start. |

Nice FAQ.
But I was surprised to read 'light radius' modifiers will have no benefit in the delve mine. It really seems like a missed opportunity to give that utterly useless mod some purpose. --------------- THE MOOCH --------------

Will the Berserker's "increased damage taken" result in him dropping dead as soon as darkness touches his toes? That would be really unfortunate.
"Into the Labyrinth!
left step, right step, step step, left left. Into the Labyrinth!" |

" I don't like this at all. You find a very rare item (500-1000h of play average) and you have 1/150 chance to get a Headhunter. All other results will be disappointing. I'd prefer Keys being more common and the rewards weighted accordingly. And Headhunter finally removed from the game. |
